Take a gander at any skins board and its almost 100% agreement that they have already won this Sunday's game, even if Dallas plays all their starters the entire game. Not only that but most of them now believe they are truely the best team in the NFC and will beat Seattle and then us in the playoffs. All this because they won 3 games in a row in which the opposing QB played horribly. I can't wait until they are finally done for the year, hopefully its this Sunday!

Even if they make it to the playoffs, and I suspect they will, Seattle is going to beat the tar out of them.

Let the redskirt fans live in there own world. we all know who's the best team in the NFC and the NFC East. it sure aint the Redskirts.. It's even more comical, that they actually think they can beat us with our starters in the game please! Also have you seen the 3 QB's they beat lol, Rex, Jackson, and the other loser i forgot his name hah

Nope, we sure can't.

They already got this game won and according to them, they will have no problem beating the Cowboys at Dallas, after all, they have won whopping three games in a row and is hottest team in NFC.

let me clear some of the air, or at least speak for myself.

Many of the fans you are talking about do not represent the entire skins fanbase. Some are getting ahead of theirsevles, but you will be hardpressed to find a 'playoff' thread on ES that doesn't say, "lets think about this sunday first" .

Everyone is confident and believes we should win, but we do respect your guys' abilities, even brad johnson. We know we should win, but being a skins fan, you never know.

That being said, we are playing very well right now. I dont even know if i could tell you who is the best team in the NFC, but we are one of the 'hottest', at least according to the all knowing network called ESPN. We got a good d, good running game, good passing game, and no TOs. To say best team is a stretch as we played teams with glaring flaws last three weeks. Chicago's D has sucked and we played their backup. The giants have eli, they suck at home, wind, and were spiralling downhill. The gameplan against the Vikes was really simple and we followed through.

We have seen how we play against the NFC's better teams, and we kept them all close and had some bonehead plays. Moslty santana's drops and fumble against GB, and JC's INT against you guys late in the game.

We are a better team from then, so some people would quickly jump on and say we are the best. I think we as fans are getting a little too caught up in the hype around DC right now, but with all that we have been through, i dont blame them for thinking that. The thought of us having a chance just seemed so absurd a few weeks ago, we feel a bit like a team of destiny.

Seattle is actually the last team i want to play against right now. Their offense can spread us out, and although Shaun has played poorly, i dont want him to get on a roll. We have the tools to beat them, but they are on a tear as of late.

Most fans have confidence in the team, and i think any true skins fan is not looking past this game thinking its going to be an easy win. Logically speaking it 'should' be, but when you got two bitter rivals going at it, no matter who is playing, you never know.

Not all Skins fans think they are the best team in the NFC, me being one of them. You must hang out with crackheads.

Skins fans are on an emotional roller-coaster right now. Unless they reach the Super Bowl, this will definitely be a season I want to forget.

But can you really blame any Skins fans for being confident with their team? They are coming off of 3 huge wins over teams that were/are still in the thick of the playoff hunt. Gibbs is really stepping up as a football and as a personal leader. Plus the team is playing great with 8 fill-in guys.

Ease up.

Man, these guys really do hype up their whopping three game winning streak. :laugh2:

So what's better, a measly three game winning streak or winning 13 out of 15 games?

see, there are skins fans that want to realize the situation. if you dont want to click, the title of the thread is, "Anybody else worried that maybe we are getting to far ahead of ourselves here? "

plus, i dont know what that redskins1 thing is about, but whatever

one other factor that sorta justifies the looking ahead at seattle and the playoffs, is that gibbs wont let the team do that. we as fans can speculate on whatever, although many feel more comfortable dealing with the task at hand. Gibbs wont let the team do anything other wise.

I'm not going to click on it :) but around post 3 or 4, is there condemnation for not being a real Commander fan for making that post? w/ something along the lines of "turn in your card"?

And then you have these whoppers...
If Dallas plays their #2s, we'll beat them. If they play their #1s, we'll still beat them. Because we need to and we are playing inspired football.
With all this team has been through you think they really care about someone coming off the injured list to play? No one wants to play the Commanders right now and Dallas will be the next team to see why.
I don't give a **** who plays for Dallas or any other team. The way this team is playing right now is scary enough to make Ray Charles flinch.
I hope they play them all so we can bang them up and go to a T Collins Super Bowl like we did with Doug Williams
I know "almost wins" dont matter, but it's almost as if the Cowboy fans forgot about JC giving the game away in Dallas.

I dont care what Dallas fans have to say, because for the most part they're biased and quite unrealistic. 28-23 in Dallas without #21 and JC drove us down only to throw an INT.

We can beat their starters, the 90's version, or any team they put on the field.
There are many more like above post but you get the idea. Also, I have read several of your fans wanting to seriously injure Romo and Cowboys, very classless comment but not surprised coming your fanbase.

For a laugh...
Also, Romo is better outside the pocket than he is inside the pocket. He is ATROCIOUS rolling to his left. Which is how Philly beat Romo, Kept him in the pocket and made him roll left.

:lmao2:

For a team that has won an impressive 13 out of 15 games, you guys sure are sensitive. But I understand what not winning a playoff game in 11 years can do to a fan, so I won't judge you too hard.
