that's pretty brash.....this game is going to be closer than most realize; that's my feeling, anyway......Gangsta Spanksta;1862994 said:The skin fans are so confident that they're talking about resting their players. :laugh1:

the Dallas team that Wash sees sunday ain't the same one they will see IF they make it past Seattle...if Owens and Glenn return for the divisional round they'll present more problems than in the first matchup...a three game winning streak does'nt guarantee anything in the playoffs...Wash is 1-5 versus teams with over eight wins and 2-5 versus teams above .500...Gibbs II;1862344 said:let me clear some of the air, or at least speak for myself.
Many of the fans you are talking about do not represent the entire skins fanbase. Some are getting ahead of theirsevles, but you will be hardpressed to find a 'playoff' thread on ES that doesn't say, "lets think about this sunday first" .
Everyone is confident and believes we should win, but we do respect your guys' abilities, even brad johnson. We know we should win, but being a skins fan, you never know.
That being said, we are playing very well right now. I dont even know if i could tell you who is the best team in the NFC, but we are one of the 'hottest', at least according to the all knowing network called ESPN. We got a good d, good running game, good passing game, and no TOs. To say best team is a stretch as we played teams with glaring flaws last three weeks. Chicago's D has sucked and we played their backup. The giants have eli, they suck at home, wind, and were spiralling downhill. The gameplan against the Vikes was really simple and we followed through.
We have seen how we play against the NFC's better teams, and we kept them all close and had some bonehead plays. Moslty santana's drops and fumble against GB, and JC's INT against you guys late in the game.
We are a better team from then, so some people would quickly jump on and say we are the best. I think we as fans are getting a little too caught up in the hype around DC right now, but with all that we have been through, i dont blame them for thinking that. The thought of us having a chance just seemed so absurd a few weeks ago, we feel a bit like a team of destiny.
Seattle is actually the last team i want to play against right now. Their offense can spread us out, and although Shaun has played poorly, i dont want him to get on a roll. We have the tools to beat them, but they are on a tear as of late.
Most fans have confidence in the team, and i think any true skins fan is not looking past this game thinking its going to be an easy win. Logically speaking it 'should' be, but when you got two bitter rivals going at it, no matter who is playing, you never know.

I suppose I would be out of line if I posted the video to that Extremeskins battle cry thread.
The Cowboys probably remember a soft defense when they think about the Commanders from playing them earlier this year. What they get on Sunday is going to be a totally different experience. If they are foolish enough to come out and try to throw the ball around, Romo might just end up sucking his thumb rather than holding it in his left hand. We are going to blitz the hell out of their offensive line and Mr. Laron Landry is going to leave a few calling cards out there.
I truly believe the Cowboys will be done by halftime. All we have to do is take Witten away from Romo and he won't know where to go with the ball. This is a classic "smack em in the mouth" early game and lets see how much fight they have in them.
After our defense comes off the field, get ready for some serious running of the football. Portis will have his best day as a Commander at Fed Ex and Cooley will be running through the Dallas secondary. With Collins in control, we will pound the Cowboys on Sunday. There is nothing like a 4:00 game in DC, and best of all, Sean Taylor will show us the way.....
Believe in Joe!!!!

They are like skinny dogs looking for a bone. They are like the skinny ally cat looking for a fish head. They are barely surviving and their bones show it.
