Can't even stand to look at McCarthy anymore

Agreed, but we do things different here in Dallas, winning be damned.

As long as Jerry's making money, the results don't matter. We're basically the Disney of football. Making top quality isn't important (unless the fans are getting restless and need a distraction). Making money is.

I'd imagine that the next time we get a top coach, it'll be with Stephen while we are trying to replace AT&T Stadium. Think the Joneses are going to settle for other stadiums being built and the tech going into them? I don't think so. To put it in perspective, Texas Stadium was our stadium for 37 years. Our current stadium is already 10 years old. So, don't be surprised if they start looking at yet another new stadium in 5-10 years, and a top coach would likely be brought in to try to drive up interest to bludgeon some poor city manager into making way for the new stadium.

FAT Mike looks like Edgar from Men in Black. I can't even stomach seeing this guys fat face on TV anymore. He looks like a fat hillbilly who got his last big payday and is enjoying retirement on a fishing boat. Of course leave it up to this franchise to waste another year of talent(minus a QB). FYI the running game was going with Pollard and Davis but they still had Dak throw the ball 46 times. What a joke of a team, what a joke of a franchise. They aren't going anywhere this year, MM will lose his job by seasons end and then we will have to wait an additional 3-4 years of this FRAUD of a QB to be done here while wasting precious/prime years of Micah, Sammy Will, Cee Dee and Diggs careers. Poor Zach Martin. Feel bad for a guy like him, JG his whole career now this joke. WOW, just sad.

Outstanding post. We share very similar thoughts on players and this HC. Appreciate you venting for both of us here.

It's incredible how fans don't see this. It doesn't matter who the coach is, the blame starts and ends with the Jones boys.

Jerry should get the lion's share of the blame.

BUT
That doesn't excuse or give a free pass to both the HC or the QB1 for being poor at their jobs.
Regardless if he hired them or drafted them.

They share in the GM/HC/QB1 NFL triangle of success blame.

Again Jerry, the largest portion, but McCheese and SleepNumber get a big piece of the pie as well.

Joke of a HC. Just like KM is a joke of a OC. Dak is a joke of a QB. Zeke is a joke of an RB. The list continues for every position on this team.

The problem is, Jerry has been here for a long time and, with his son, will be around for a lot longer. Things won't change until ownership does.

Blaming McCarthy for the state of the Cowboys is exactly what the fuhrer and son want you to do. Yet, the Dallas hc is not allowed to hire their own staff and they have no authority to fire or discipline players w/o the fuhrer's approval. Yeah, that is definitely McCarthy's fault. If only we could get Sean Peyton to be our hc and hand his balls to the fuhrer as soon as he signs his contract.
:hammer:This. The problem is much more than the QB and coaching staff. The front office ego is a joke and has been for the last quarter century.

Mike got in his own way yesterday. He should have kicked the FG in OT, they still might of lost but at least you have all the options are on the table. Going for it was about MM not the team. In OT you go get the points you can get and see where the chips lay. That was a poor decision to go for it well within FG range.

Exactly. It's ultimately a no win proposition for any HC or QB1 here. But even with that said, I still can't let the HC and QB1 position holders not share in the responsibility of team failure for sucking at their jobs.
Is the task at hand for any HC or QB1 here to be able to win/overcome "in spite" of management's undermining/meddling?

The answer is yes.

This is a huge part of being the HC and QB1 of the Dallas Cowboys.

Are there ANY head coaches or QB1s out there that can win the Jones Way?

I dont know but it sure ain't McCarthy and Dak.

Got to agree we weren't mentally or physically prepared for Green Bay and had a bi-week to do it.
Again nine penalties for 83 yd and a bunch of unsportsman like conduct penalties.

That along with our receivers and quarterback not being on the same page after having a bye week to get it right leading to turnovers that killed us.

Watching our coaching staff yesterday was desperate and sad

It's like they took the entire bye week off, and just played Madden or something. It is a now long standing trend for this team to come out flat after bye weeks. It sure does appear as if they don't use bye weeks properly at all.
