That play wasn't on Claiborne, we were in cover 2 and all 3 of our LBs bit hard on the play action leaving the middle of the field wide open. Mo had outside leverage and Nicks should have been passed off to our LBs.

Yes you're right, but after the ball was in the air he had no reaction or hustle to close the gap. The bomb to Cruz was worse. He jogged. Only Wilcox was really running.

You are putting the cart light years ahead of the horse. 17 games into his career is to small of a sample.

very true, same story with the Giants fans screaming about David WIlson, give the kids a chance to develop. With that being said I don't know how Mo is going to turn out, I got to say right now I am a little disappointed but like you said he is 17 games into his career so let's see

He did not appear to be healthy. He never appeared to run full speed when covering.

that sucks. was never a huge Mo fan, but I am hoping he continues to grow and become a good CB. Didn't help him that the Dallas scouts and coaches threw out the Deion comparisons.

I think he was actually the top rated defender in his draft class and not just by our scouts.

could be, but I remember seeing some stuff that had it not been for all the off the field stuff that Jenkins was a better overall CB prospect. I only heard the dallas scouts refer to Deion which is way off base. Hope it ends well for Mo, Dallas needs him big time.

Unless he can all of a sudden become a physical corner, which I don't see happening due to 1. his body seems to not be able to hold up physically and 2. that's not his game, then he will not be of much use in this scheme.

We shall see what happens but so far, not been impressed at all with him. If people remember, Jenkins was also a highly touted corner coming out of college. He struggled early on and people said the exact same thing. Which was it's way too early, just wait. But red flags are red flags. And Mo has red flags on him for this scheme and his ability to stay healthy. Jenkins never improved, either.

Fact is, even if Mo was better, still not worth what we gave up to get him. At all.

Too early to write him off or even evaluate the trade but you can say he's not played as well as you'd like and I don't think of him as being a good tackling CB. Tackling in this scheme is just vital. I get a little concerned about shoulder injuries. My guess is he had a subluxation and will wear the support to help prevent another subluxation. Just a guess.

Man Jenkins would have been a nice pick. This scheme is right up his alley
