Canty - torn hamstring

The G-Men are plenty deep at DL without Canty.

'Cept that some of their other "depth" has been injured most, if not all, of the TC and preseason games. I don't think Rocky Bernard has taken a snap yet in the last few weeks.

Jay Allford was also carted off the field last week.

I would say they are no longer plenty deep. You cant loose Canty, Allford and Bernard and still be plenty deep.

Seriously low-class, guys.

Canty was nothing but a professional when he was here, and the recent trend of glorying in the injuries to players from other teams on this board is beneath us. Or it should be.

O stop. He was talking crap about our guys. Get off your high horse Mr. Morals.

I'm not going to argue with you about whether or not it's appropriate to laugh when a player from another team gets hurt, or listen to you defend your rationale. It's a douchebag move, under any circumstance.

Agree here. I lose serious respect for players who switch teams within division for money. I understand anywhere else in league, but when its like that its to stick it to his former team. Eg: Favre to Minnesota, TO to Cowboys, and Canty to Giants. Scumbags.

:lmao2: He's a division rival that gets paid millions of dollars to play football and you expect me to say "awww" when he gets hurt. Child please. It's a hammy. He'll get over it.

Regardless, to make light of their injuries is low. I will revel in the misery of their fans bemoaning the fact that their team is going down the tubes, but an injured player will always have my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

You don't make a distinction between losing respect for a player and laughing when they get injured?

No, actually. I expect douchebag moves from you. I'm just pointing it out. Just because it *should* be beneath our fans, it doesn't mean that it is.

I dont hold getting paid against any player. I do hold going to a divisional rival and talking smack about a few of the players on the Cowboys afterward against him.

That's why I'd like Chris Canty healthy on the field.

Let our players deal with him for running to the enemy and talking smack to make their fans happy.

:laugh2: You don't even know me. Stop acting like you do.

Giants also lost another back up DT Jay Alford to a a torn MCL and partially torn ACL. Their D-line depth is suddenly gone.

Well, I am not going to lose sleep over his struggles to recovery. Hes injured and hes the enemy, get well soon but in the meantime enjoy the new stadium.

I must've missed this. What did Canty say about our guys?

Said he was young and confused coming out of college... that's why he went cowboys. Finally on the right team with giants.

Had week 2 game circled - wants there to be fireworks.

When asked is Tony Romo overrated he said, "No comment." When pressed, he later said, "He's a good football player."

Said Tuck better than Ware.

That's just from one interview - I'm sure there's more stuff out there.

Man, a lot of infighting and tension on the board today, and I of course am completely innocent.
