Probably not but somebody did.Do you really consider him a Pro Bowler?

I wish he could become full owner.Micah about to be part owner of the Cowboys after his extension
You really over taxed in projections of Jerry responses as are the negotiations of Stephen now?
Oh no Dallas has good players! And they want to be paid! How will we recover from this shocking development?
Football is the one sport that you go get your money. Players that were considered really good two years ago are out of the league now. While owners are making billions.Oh goodie toodie, that kind of top salary desires and injuries are what destroyed the Dynasty, not Jerry!
I must have missed 60 Minutes. What are you saying? You really over taxed in projections of Jerry responses as are the negotiations of Stephen now?
This has already been a final zone level for organization projections with both Jerry and Stephen both for quite a few years of internal struggles. Darth Vader is in view now and Yoda came back to life and is getting excited.
If one is already ingrained after all that in abstract, never mind, this team is very strong here and now.I must have missed 60 Minutes. What are you saying?
lol @ I being the one instructed to 'sleep it off' out of the two of us.If one is already ingrained after all that in abstract, never mind, this team is very strong here and now. Just go back and sleep it off...
LolWe have to get rid of Wil McClay.
He is the problem. Getting young talented player who we have to pay.
They have an awesome product.Football is the one sport that you go get your money. Players that were considered really good two years ago are out of the league now. While owners are making billions.
You made my case for me. Thanks!Everyone is hit or miss. You don’t maintain winning seasons and improve rosters by signing the wrong guys over and over.
Outside of Zeke (who I think was a very Jerry involved negotiation), there haven’t been any egregious signings.
Bad signings would be Jaylon
Signings that seemed fine at the start but ended up being a mixed bag or not working: La’el and Amari
Good players signed but botched negotiations: Dak
Good contract good players: Martin, Diggs, LVE, the safeties, veteran deals to guys like Brown and Lewis (5M per year over 3 years to each).
Undecided: Gallup, upcoming Lamb/Parsons, tough contractual evals like Biadisz/Steele.
This is about as good as a track record as any productive GM outside of the elite ones. Everyone has some mistakes but for the most part we pay good players and always have the money to pay who we want.
I do believe we will be going on 3 years in a row of double digit wins. You don’t sustain winning like that with bad cap management. We’ll see how the next 2-3 years go as well.
I don’t remember Stepnoski being a 4th choice Pro Bowler. As much as when Dallas had Stepnoski.
After the first 3 guys said no.Probably not but somebody did.
Great, we agree they’ve done a better job than what we dealt with when Jerry had most of the control. You made my case for me. Thanks!
Mark StepnoskiI don’t remember Stepnoski being a 4th choice Pro Bowler.
Perspective and you still don't see!lol @ I being the one instructed to 'sleep it off' out of the two of us.
The entire team has grown, but Jerry was still in the middle of the growth as always. And strongly positive in it.Great, we agree they’ve done a better job than what we dealt with when Jerry had most of the control.
If strong in business and all dynasties are, that's how today, franchises grow. One either sees the markings or one doesn't then. A fan can root if he sees changes or not...that is football.Mixed feelings on this. It's a smart business move for sure. The way salaries keep jumping up every year, it seems like the only way to win is sign an extension before any other NFL talent at that position.
But when you start re-signing early, does it motivate or does it cause them to sit back on their laurels? Every player has their own buttons and responds differently. Although some force the issue with holdouts or are no-brainers like #11.
Then you have to deal with the hurt feelings maybe earlier than intended, like they might have done guaranteeing Kearse after he saw his buddies being given contracts and asked if he was chopped liver. Again, contracts go up so much now it's much easier to get caught in that trap.
Tricky business, just hope we have the right people doing it. Sometimes worry this is one of the pitfalls of having the Owner/GM dynamic. More of a "It's my team, I'll do it my way" reaction although I'm sure they don't work in silos and get Big Mac and other Coach input.
I wouldnt be opposed to him getting 51%.Micah about to be part owner of the Cowboys after his extension
