You guys can hope and pray all you want for the Cowboys to move on from Dak but it won’t happen. The biggest problem is the team around him, especially the defense. The Packers could have scored 60 if they kept pushing the peddle and didn’t take out their starters for part of the 4th quarter. Our defense sucks in the playoffs.

LIKE IT OR NOT DAK was a top 5 quarterback in 12 of the games this year. All you Dak haters are the same. Just hate no real solutions. Just I hate Dak...... So why continued to beat a dead horse to death???? We get it...

I can think of the Titans, Raiders, Steelers, Dolphins, Vikings, Falcons? Maybe one of them will offer us a 1st...

Lol. Yes...let's cut him and get nothing. Brilliant!

Only way I move on from Dak is a trade and a haul.
What do you think teams will give up for Dak? Most likely the Cowboys would have to give up a draft pick to get someone to pick up his remaining contract?

No. Dak's contract is very new team friendly. They would extend him out and save a ton of money. Probably would have to negotiate out the no trade clause.

Cowboys should get a package consistent with Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers or a lesser Watson deal. No one would be dumb enough to do what the Browns did...unfortunately.

And don't forget they carried over around 20 million in cap and the cap will be increasing so there is no Dak lockdown just myths from those pesky Dak lovers.
If the Broncos can cut ties with Wilson trust me we can do it with Prescotto.
Don't you mean Presquitto?

If that is the case we should trade him today…. We would have that 64 million hit the cap right now. This is not the NBA , sometimes I wish it was with cap flexibility.

I don't want to trade him because of the massive hit we are going to take but we can navigate it and come out the other side with all kinds of resources.

If we didn't have a prospect like Lance, I wouldn't be saying this. I have said since they traded for him that this did one of a few things:

  • protected themselves in case of a longer term injury
  • protected themselves if Dak doesn't want to take a reasonable offer
  • protected themselves if they decide to trade/cut him in this option year.

They can say whatever they want about why they got him but these were the main reasons for the aquisition.
