After signing Looney for 2/1.675m, JCrawford for 1/1.1m, Morris for 2/3.5m and Mayowa for 3/8.25m DAL sits at approx 7.7m under the cap.

They will still need to make some room before the season by cutting/re-doing Carr or restructuring Dez/Witten.

Space as of 4/6/16 = 7.7m
minus Rookie pool.....4.5m
get roster to 53...........1m
Practice squad............1m
total............................1.2m

Who cares, we not signing anybody else maybe a 6/1 cut but other than that we in good shape. We have players we can restructure if need be so once again we are in good cap space.

Seems reasonable. If we need more cash just restructure. No biggie. Id rather we use the max during the remainder of romos career.

When will it end? Will we ever we have a double digit surplus?

Romo is still fat.

We've got more of our players covered, going forward, than most teams do. But that eats up the cap for coming seasons, too.

A double digit surplus would mean that we aren't spending our cap money wisely. You have to maximize your budget every year.

Not sure about that because the inverse definitely is not true.

Stay as tight to the cap limit as possible, and only create space if you need it. That's the best policy.

The truth is, Dallas could create $20 million if they want to. But that would just push back money later.

If you have enough quality starters and enough quality depth.

That's not the case.
