It will not be an easy game as there is no such thing for this team. However, the Panthers play in a bad division like we do and have beaten one teamn with a winning record, as we have. With Romo, anything is possible.

Outside of a few teams, the entire league is mediocre. They've beaten GB, Seattle (at home), TB, and Indy. Now while there are no world beaters on that list, there are only two undefeated teams and Carolina is one of them. This is a very good football team.

We will have to play a lot of Zone this week or Cam will eat us alive! Ro is the onky LB we have that can get him as well. Lee will fly off of him like a ragdoll!

I think we go Man out with Zone underneath, that keeps the Lb ers looking at the QB but the WR covered up. Also will help kill the seam route. The D Line must remain disciplined in their rush and keep Cam in the pocket. I think their Secondary can be had by Tony and Company. I think we go pass to set up the run this week. It will be a close game I think, but if we win, its on. We will roll to 9 and 7.

No doubt. And they're not just winning. They're blowing teams out. Panthers are excellent and winning on Thursday would legitimize all the hope fans have tried to maintain through Tony's absence.

No Sean Lee won't bounce off of Cam like a rag doll. Do you have any evidence to back your claim? Does Sean Lee have a history of missed tackles? That no.

Cam outweighs him by 20lbs and is stud physically.

They aren't blowing every team out. They were down 17 in the fourth against Seattle. I said from the beginning they are a good team but they have had some close calls

In many cases, the goal is to encourage equal betting on both teams; the point spread in those cases is a reflection of the public’s assessment of the two teams...

In other words, its pretty worthless as an objective measure....

Cam Newton has been on fire the last three games, with increasingly good results and QB rating. Perhaps he is due for an off game as he does historically struggle with accuracy, having a career completion % of 59.

If we can somehow stop the run early and build a decent lead we could put him in forcing-throw mode.

I think we will put up some points assuming Romo is crisper and less INT prone than Sunday when he was rusty.

This team has come back, scraped and clawed to win some games. I am very happy they blew out the Commanders, they played hard but at the end of the day, this team is due a loss. I really think our team has what it takes. Romo seemed to be getting back into the swing of things towards the end of the game. So heres to hoping we can do it.

Being "due a loss" implies you know something about the Panthers that I think can not be known. It is possible to go undefeated, the 1972 Dolphins proved that so, are you saying the Panther can't do that? How do you know? I appreciate having hope for your team and trying to be positive but I think you are trying to sell false hope if you are banking on the opponent being "due a loss". That's not a winning strategy. It underestimates your opponent and lacks selling why your own team is better which would be a more positive message. The Panthers are no more due a loss than you are due to win the lottery just because you've never won it before.

I agree, this will not be an easy game. Then again, I was actually worried about the INDY game last season, and look how that turned out.

Indy is a soft team and it showed. Carolina is probably the most physical team we face all season.

The Panthers are one of the most slept on teams in the league. They aren't flashy, but man are they physical. They are a chippy bunch that will push and talk trash after the whistle. Their offense is ranked #15 (total yds/gm) and #3 in scoring. That's right, #3 at 30 points a game. Defensively, they are ranked #4 (total yds/gm) and ranked #5 in pts allowed, giving up 19 per. This team is also ranked #2 in sacks. They are a smash mouth team that runs the ball more than anyone and they stop your rushing attack. They've only given up 78 rushing yards in the past two games! 64 last week and 14 Sunday. They are tied for the lead with a +13 turn over ratio. They have also won 14 games in a row going back to the end of last season. Just some information on a team that plays in a small market and get hardly any national attention.

I just hope the Patriots win tonight because I do not want the annoying 73 Dolphins celebrating our win.

We get it. You went undefeated. In a 14 game season. Back when running backs were white.

Only two teams throughout the history of the NFL has had undefeated regular season records. So, the chances of a loss for Carolina and Patriots losing is rising by the week.

While Cam had a huge game yesterday, this guy still has the accuracy of a rookie QB - only three games this season he has a completion percentage above 59. Despite his good to great ratings the past 3 weeks, his season rating is still only at 90, he's had some truly horrific games this. We are not going up against a Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers.

And yes, the Panthers have had a cupcake schedule. They've gone up against two rookies, two elite QBs that were hobbled by injuries, and Seattle and Green Bay teams going through a funk, along with Bortles, Mallet, Bradford, and Cousins.

Kudos for being undefeated, I guess. But it's not unheard of for a team to be undefeated at this point in the season. I simply don't fear this team and Cam doesn't worry me. Their defense is near the top of the league, but we'll find ways to score.
