Carolina is due

Given only one team in NFL history has played an entire season without a loss, it is fair to say that they are due for a loss. Hell, even the 2007 Patriots who were supposedly unstoppable lost the only game that mattered..

How do you know the Panthers aren't that rare team that goes undefeated? You're not giving me their weakness or the Cowboys strength over them. Banking on the idea that they are "due a loss" without stats to back up how the Cowboys win is just false hope. The Panthers will put relentless pressure on Romo and he will be lucky to finish the game given his frail collarbone.

I'm not going to go back over the reason we shouldn't fear Carolina, I've post about it a few times already and I won't spam.

But to say Romo's "frail collarbone" - bones typically grow back stronger after a break. The way Romo fell and a player that landed on top of him, nearly anyone would break their collarbone.

So, unless that situation happens again, there should be no worry about Romo's collarbone and calling it "frail" is weird.

I'll also point out here, Carolina is ranked 20th when it comes to defending deep passes. Williams could have a big day.

I'm amazed how confident and cocky our fan base has become after beating an average to below average Dolphins. Listen I'm just as happy to have Romo back and deep inside I think we can win. But the down right disregard for the 10-0 Panthers is kind of disrespectful.

Who is being cocky? Confidence comes with having Romo.

But this beats the whining we saw for 7 weeks.

Romo himself has said this week it's still at a point were it is easier to break so stop pretending it is fully healed. Carolina is the real deal... gonna kick our Cowboys butts.

Romo can say whatever he likes, unless he's lacking calcium, his bone right now is either equally as strong as it once was or stronger. That collarbone is not an issue right now, his back has more of a chance of an injury at this point. That's a legitimate worry and will be until he retires.

Your overstating of Romo's collarbone health is a "legitimate worry". No matter how his collarbone is doing, he'll be lucky to finish the game. That Panther pass rush is coming for him.

Yes it does I suppose. I just hope the fan base is ready. Seems like they are setting themselves up to have a rough thanksgiving if we lose. Carolina is a darn good football team and the vibe around here is we're expected to win. I'm a bit more reserved.

I fully understand, and trust me, I am as pessimistic as it gets. I just have this feeling we win. I'm usually right when I have this bottom of my stomach feeling. If not, I won't be that upset. Also, I'm already 3 Red Stripes deep. Go Cowboys!
