parcells loves linebackers and is convinced a team can't have too many. i consider us fortunate to be able to sit carpenter because it tells me the team is well-stocked at a position of utmost gravity in the 3-4 defense.

seeing the rookie struggle is discouraging for some fans. but struggles are part of the growth process for the vast majority of NFL players. it's natural. the problem lies in the unrealistic expectations of many "just add water - makes it's own superstar baller"- type of fans.

bobby carpenter has been a "Pro" for all of... gee, what's it been now?... 16 freakin' weeks...

parcells thought enough of him to put him on the final roster. he ain't dead yet. heck, he's barely getting started.

1. Carpenter was not gonna start
2. Carpenter is not the best Special teams player (with his tweaked Ankle)
3. Bill always takes the best special teams players if they are not starting.

Thats the facts and the only reason Carp was not active ...... sorry if you thought something different.
