But this is the year 2008. Things are different.

That's not nostalgic. In 2008, it's to be expected that two famous people dating is going to be public knowledge. However, do you really expect what they do in the bedroom to be public knowledge? Cuz that's what I was referencing.

It's one thing to acknowledge that two famous people are dating. Assuming you know anything about the people doing the dating is another thing altogether. I know what I've read, but I don't know them personally. And I don't feel like what I've read makes me anymore informed than the man on the moon.

On a sidenote: someone mentioned 9 months as if it was a long time. That goes to show you how things have changed. Nowadays when I hear someone say "they were married for a long time, almost 10 years"... makes me laugh.

9 mos isn't that long. However, it does mean that the relationship isn't a fling, that two people really are trying to create something solid.

You could replace Jessica Simpson's name with Carrie Underwood and it would still apply. Nobody knows how they are in their private lives.

Assuming Jess is a freak and Carrie isn't doesn't make either theory true or false. What goes on behind closed doors should stay that way.

I agree. What I know of these celebs is what the media puts out and the image the managers put out there. Is this who they really are? Who knows?

lol, i know the FAvre soap opera was driving you crazy the last couple of months. Hope Brett does great at New York. I could never root for an AFC team. There is just something inferior about that conference. I hope the Jets lose to Green Bay in the Super Bowl. My new favorite qb is A-rod. Hope he stays up on his feet long enough to give the Packers a glimpse of how good he can be. IF he does well, the Packers will be good, if he sucks the Packers will suck. Totally agree with this! Romo is being the gentleman here, appreciating her friendship but people call him a player. She could have spoken to him in private but she chose to say in public...what a *****y move!

uh, no. You don't go sniffin around ol girlfriends when you are in a commited relationship. I don't care if they are "just friends". If they did the nasty together when they were a couple, jessica is not going to appreciate Tony checking up on her. I am sure good ol Tony has been hearing about it since it hit the news.

And you hear this from a source close to Carrie, not from Tony himself....what difference does it make? People can perceive it wrongly. Hell, even Carrie could have misunderstood his intention.

From what I see right now, he looks happy with Jessica so more power to him. She watched the game at the stadium quietly, there was no media distraction, all attention was on the Cowboys. That's all that matters!

Well Tony picked awhile ago, this interview was over 2 months ago. Underwood don't have to worry about Tony calling anymore especially after this. GO CARRIE! I'm sure Tony don't want to be put on blast in a magazine anymore. Jessica he is all all yours.
