It is and has been extremely common for years now. I think Fred Barnett was one of the first high profile athletes that had it done. The rehab is much quicker and you don't have to worry about hamstring weakness or a patella fracture (i.e. Germaine Crowell, Anthony Lucas) He tore his ACL so it is always completely useless and it won't heal by stitching it back together.stealth said:whoa really they take tendons from dead people now?
