God he is so good.

Every year there are overhyped guys, and most of them fail to perform.

A few of them are serviceable or even good.

But this guy is great.

I really hope injuries don't derail what will be undoubtedly a great career.

He's also my dynasty FF QB for years to come, hehe.

The Bengals though will make a SB with him and CJ, so long as they continue to shore up that D.

I agree, they also need to stay out of police blotter as well.

There was no way we could have gotten Palmer. But at the time you have to remember he had only one great year in college. A lot of people thought that he was a bit of a risk because of that.

i was going to take R johnson with the #5 pick in my FF draft. but i think the bengals are going to be a pass first team and pass for most of their TD's so im rethinking Rudi at pick 5......also now thinking about taking palmer in the 2nd round, definitely will grab him in the 3rd if he's there and i usually dont take a qb until round 7 or 8.

well one thing we can take comfort in, we didn't have the chance to pass on him, so that's good, no regrets

Yep thats true and really I thought Byron Leftwitch should have been the No. 1 choice that year instead of Palmer, since Palmer had only one good year. I saw both Byron Leftwitch and Palmer ( only couple of Palmer), and came away more impressed with Leftwitch.

But so far, Palmer certainly has justified his no. 1 pick status. Ironically, its against Cowboys that Palmer started gaining confidence and its BP who said that if Ben and Palmer changed their respective teams, Palmer probably would have the same success, when asked to compare those two in 2004.

Unbelievable.
Why is it this thread moves to the NFL Zone (as it should) and Kerry Collins to the Titans stays in the Cowboys?
