I completely agree with Cowherd, especially when he starts talking about the Gruden and the Raiders...I was never a fan of Gruden ...... watching that video and his breakdown about loving players over liking a player, culture, identity, philosophy, support structure, drafting....You could be talking about Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys....it's the exact problem in Dallas over the last 25 plus years...it's a rudderless ship that changes course on a whim from one year to the next..

what went wrong? Here is what went wrong...WENTZ stank. SIMPLE.

Exactly. Maybe he isn’t very good. I was never impressed. Way too mechanical. That said if anyone can fix him it would be Frank Reich. I think he is an excellent QB guy. Wentz is never going to be a top QB.

I was thinking about the Jerry connection too.

I feel for the dude. He was hammered consistently, got back up and played.

I don't know what was going on in the locker room but......I just think he's a quiet dude. A loner, that was misconstrued?

this sounds like a good renegade cop movie but maybe not so good for a football team.

What’s been the constant obsession with Wentz around here, I thought Philthy fans were allegedly the ones obsessed with us, it seems quite the opposite.

I get he was in the NFCE but I don’t ever recall seeing a single thread about Jones, why not him too?

He sucks, he’s a bitter diva loser, end of story. I thought there was a 90% chance I would never see a Wentz thread again after he was traded, I was way off.

I’m genuinely curious, to each their own but help me out with your fascination of Wentz, I want to know why.

What went wrong was poor decisions by the front office to draft a qb in the 2nd round..instead of investing in their offensive line to protect him.
Wentz wasn't very good. He made poor decisions on the field. When he did have time he often was very inaccurate. Could it be the reason WHY they chose to draft a QB in round 2 instead of focusing on oline? Clearly they lost trust in him in the FO. They were proven correct. Not saying Hurts will be any better btw..

Colin Cowherd always has been a Wentz **** sucker.
I accidentally heard Colin Cowturd on radio yesterday telling us about his undying love of Carson Wentz. Eric Mangini didnt fall for it . I never will understand why he loves a QB that has shown time and time again he is no leader or starter. Yet he casts shade at Dak even though HE has done more and has the numbers to back it up. Its really odd. Colin is either a friggin moron or he is trying to get clicks by saying stupid ****.

its the NFL man, you gonna get hit. I dont feel sorry for him. Dak was hit much more than he was and HE got the stats to prove hes better than him easily. Wentz will fall flat in Indy. He has all the physical tools to be great but sadly with him he lacks the WARRIOR MENTALITY TO LEAD MEN and to overcome.

I just realized I don't hate him anymore. They become human after they wash off the stink of Philadelphia.
Hes a great dude..I would have a beer with him. But he is no NFL starter at QB. He's not good..he's mediocre. With him its a mental thing and until he shows that is a thing of the past, I dont trust him.

I think Goff is a step up from Wince actually..and Goff is also borderline mediocre..where HE is better than Wince is he tends to be a bit more accurate and at least tries to take care of the ball..but he also isnt a very good team leader. At that position you need to be a leader.

Eric Mangini TOTALLY disagreed with him. I will side with the former HC and trust his FB knowledge over this bum on radio.

agree...he came from a scripted system at ND st. Everything was laid out for him..He wasn't really asked to make his progressions. He was more of a RPO QB.
