I think he is going to turn things around and Philly is going to regret putting all their hopes on Hurts.

What went wrong is Wentz is an idiot. I can't believe Indy allowed him to do this interview. Maybe they will muzzle him now that he has shown his arse to everyone.

I'll never get the well wishes for him. Y'all want him to succeed WHY?????

I ask myself the same question. I can only assume their reasoning boils down to a ‘child-like crush’ for Wentz. Even though, Dak has been more than anyone could have imagine ever since he step on the field. He should be revered for his play and fortitude, which btw, Wentz severely lacks.

I don’t hate Wentz, as a matter of fact I liked Wentz coming out of the draft, yet realized there was absolutely zero chance Dallas would draft him. (Of course, Dallas drafted both Zeke and Dak that year ..both had huge positive impacts on the team.) That said, the moment Wentz became a filthy Eagle..I was done with him.

In his defense, Wentz has played well at times during the regular season. Although, this “SB Champ” has done absolutely NOTHING in the playoffs. I’d be remised to not point out that folks frowned on Romo for being a regular season MVP also.. but atleast Romo played and won some playoff games!

In Contrast.. Dak has steadily improved and been on an upward trajectory at probably the most stressful position in the NFL as the Dallas Cowboys QB.

In 2016, Dak’s rookie season, at the ripe age of 23yo, the co-ROY went toe-to-toe against a future HOF in Aaron Rodgers. Obviously our Boys ultimately lost bc our defense could not stop Rodgers. Not to mention Rodgers got the “Lebron treatment” with the help of questionable “No Calls” from the Refs. Dak’s run in for a 2pt conversation and nearly ‘come from behind’ performance is the only reason Dallas had a chance in that game.

And again in 2018.. Dak didn’t have his best game, but showed poise to beat a seasoned Seattle defense and best another future HOF QB in Russell Wilson to win his first playoff game. The following week, even though Dak put up solid stats, our Boys played poorly and were crushed by the Rams. Later it was revealed that the Rams knew what plays were being called via positional ques, which falls solely on the incompetence of coaches.

Bottomline, football is still a team sport. Dak has been nothing but a true professional, his character is gold, and he’s trending to be even better. That said.. Dak should be revered by Cowboy fans, exp the “Wentz loving” so-called Cowboy fans that attempt to compare the two. He’s earned that much.

Maybe some actually give a spit about another human down on his luck. Or from a rivalry perspective, people want to see him do well to spite Philly getting rid of him and ruing the day.

Don't play obtuse. Surely you know that I mean from a football perspective. And who cares what he makes? Why do you people immediately go to dislike of a player because they make tons more money than you? Certainly explains fan sentiment when a player is in line for a big new deal, that's for sure. "But, but the salary cap." Suuuure.

Nice pivot there. Get busted ragging on a guy, outing yourself not caring about him "because he's rich," then trying claim victim. Routine for you, I'm sure.

So you lied and then say I did a pivot? My Lord the dishonesty continues.

Yes, play incredulous and continue your lie charade to try to hide the fact that your black and white thinking prevented you from seeing at least 2 options for why people hope for the best for the guy now that he's not playing for a rival. Not a leap of faith at all to conclude you don't like the guy personally especially when you got personal pointing out how much money he has which was nowhere in the conversation. Then when you get called out, you use the infantile "I'm not the horrible person, you are" technique to never have to address your own lack of insight. So if I'm guilty of anything, it was outlining critical thinking options that equated to mental waters deeper than you're accustomed to swimming in, obviously.

In the 11 games he played during their SB year he looked very good. Even mentioned as a possible MVP candidate that year prior to his injury.

I have no idea what happened after returning from injury, but in all the years following, he never reached that same level of performance again.
