I'm sure Dallas will get Ware signed I do think it will force Dallas to be a bit more frugal in FA I don't see Dallas doing both

The author obviously doesn't understand the salary cap or how it works along with quite a few other things like releasing players such as Roy Williams SS and Greg Ellis DE/OLB which would add some 6 mil to the cap.

Jerry could also work out a contract that has absolutely no bonus but guarantee salaries in the coming years which he could then renegotiate into bonuses in the coming years.

Ware will most likely get somewhere between 12 and 14 mil in AVERAGE salary cap hit per year, it doesn't mean it will be exactly that amount each year. For a writer, he is not very informed.

I posted it because I came across it and it concerns the Cowboys. Do I believe it 100%? No. Does anyone else? Apparently not, based on the responses so far. But I felt it was worth sharing, so I did.

I'm curious as to where you dug it up?

And I'd advise to never go there again!

Haha, what's funny is that I bet most of the people posting on this thread saying the guy is an idiot have no clue how the cap works either. At least they weren't dumb enough to put it in print though.
