Cowboys expected return dates

Week 4 - Jeremy Mincey (New Orleans) vs Drew Brees
Week 5 - Rolando McClain, Greg Hardy, Ron Leary (New England) vs Tom Brady
Week 6 - Bye Week
Week 7 - Dez Bryant, Randy Gregory (New York Giants) vs Eli Manning
Week 8 - None (Seattle) vs Russell Wilson
Week 9 - None (Philadelphia) vs Sam Bradford
Week 10 - None (Tampa Bay) vs Jameis Winston

Week 11 - Tony Romo (Miami) vs Ryan Tannehill

Games I would really like for us to win

Though it is important to note that if we can beat New York and Philly we could probably go 3-4 in this time span on still be okay.

There is thread #2. It never fails.

Why wouldn't they win the Giants game?

Things are looking good for Tony to maybe return earlier then thought- so it is POSSIBLE that we could have him for Philthy. I hope the Boys are very sensible for this and only play him if we are truly desperate. Other then that I agree let him heal fully as long as we are still in the hunt.

He is on the DFR-IR. That requires him to be out 8 weeks. I think that would make him eligible to return week 11.

I say we win against the Saints, Giants, and Buccaneers putting us at 5-5 when Tony comes back. From there it's on.

The most important game is always the next one and this is no exception.
Dallas needs to beat what looks like a bad NO team and get to 3-1.

Do that and they have the makings of the best defense in football to lean on for a few weeks as the key guys on offense filter back in.

The bye week is pretty key. It's a chance to reset and plan out a winning formula to bridge until Tony's return.

Dallas may well come out of this in great shape. Tony will be fresh whenever he does return and by the final stretch this team should be peaking not tailing off.

Not for nothing but I'd rather lose to NE and Miami and beat any of the NFC teams. They are more important.

If we could beat the Saints, Gmen and Eagles, we would look good at 5 and 5 by the time Tony gets back. I am not conceding the Tampa game-just talking.

I think the saints game is important to build confidence
The Eagles and Giants because they are division games
If you can somehow sweep your division it's hard not to get in

The Dez return date is very optimistic owner-speak. I would not actually count on him being ready for October football. For whatever reason the Jones' are always overly optimistic about player returns, which is why Randy Gregory's Week 1 "not so bad" high ankle sprain that "should be on the lower end" of 2-4 weeks is going to be holding him out until after the bye.

When was Gregory's injury anything other than 4-6? Unless you're referring to the one unconfirmed, unsubstantiated tweet that someone suggested he might be back sooner? They've been consistent with his timeline, just as they have with Dez.

And Dallas will win every game from then on out........? Cause as everyone seems to think, we'll have lost 5. Just sayin'.

the most important return date on the list is tony if we don't win any games then it really wont matter just hold out him and dez until next year if they cant beat a bad 0 and 3 new Orleans team then they more than likely wont win any of the others its really hard to win without your starting qb for me im not getting my hopes up just watching week to week to see how they do.

I think you mean 5-4... I expect to be 5-4, but I don't think we sweep the Eagles and the Giants. Is it possible? Absolutely, but not likely. I think we will lose one of those, but beat the Bucs.

Don't know how I missed that he had the return tag. Oh well so much for that....

Even then, will the team have him come back against Miami only for him to play 4 days later against Carolina? Likely depends on record.
