yah Hurts 3 is laughable. Perfect example of a QB getting way too much credit for a teams success and one season.

Hebert is too high as well. What has he done?

Stafford down at 18? LOL

Hilarious how the talking head sway so wildly based on team success or failure.

Lamar as 7th? Why? Watson at 10...why?

And for the love of God...Purdy at 12...WHY?

There’s 1 super elite win with whatever QB (Mahomes)
1 guys who’s another deep playoff season away from being a super elite win with whatever guy (Burrow)
4* guys with the all around talent to be in that Mahomes tier (Allen, Herbert, Lawrence, *Rodgers if you believe he hasn’t fallen off much physically)
3 guys who are superior athletes with the ability to throw but not quite elite throwers yet (Hurts, Jackson, Watson)
5 guys who are good to very across the board but not really elite at anything (Dak, Cousins, Geno, Goff, Carr)
4 guys who have some elite qualities but due to size, injury, and/or fall-off are now question marks (Murray, Wilson, Tua, Stafford)
4 outside looking in (Daniel Jones, Garrapolo, Tannehill, Mac Jones)

18 total guys you can win with, they just need varying levels of support. 4 guys who if you squint could do it, but they need it all to be absolutely perfect. Anyone not named above is not a starting caliber guy for more than a year or so, excluding Rooks obviously.

I find that it’s not necessarily a ranked order, just different tiers of support needed to win.

Interesting take on Dak:

"A steady hand for Dallas who went uncharacteristically streaky in 2022, Prescott is a good demarcation between the "elite" and "pretty good" QBs. He's reliable in the pocket, puts up good numbers, but the crunch-time results have yet to show."

Just like the many in here, they failed to mention Dak had no weapons last year, plus an oft-injured Oline. Heck, Aaron Rodgers faired worse for the same reasons, yet they have him ranked higher? It's all personal bias rankings. So obvious.

#1-#8 are the correct quarterbacks in the top 8 albeit a few could be shifted around in a different order. The drop off starts at #9 which is highlighted by Purdy being #12!

Justin Fields will be in the top 9 by the end of the season. Stafford should be higher than #18. Superbowl winning QB with some clutch throws in that run. Wilson and Murray could have come back seasons. Purdy is way too high in my opinion. Watson is also too high. Gino Smith is too high for me as well.

Prescott should be right next to Cousins as they are effectively the same type of QB.

Hurts should not be that high.
I was just watching a Philly game last night (Phil-Detroit, don't ask why). Hurts was wildly inaccurate in some throws and notably inaccurate in others.

But he ran for 90 yards and enjoyed a vastly superior supporting cast. Completed just over half his passes, but it worked. Hurts is top 10 because of his run threat the Eagles o-line is #1.

Do gotta say: QBs that can run like Hurts or Allen...what a huge difference it can make. Also gotta say: don't think that Eagles-Hurts contract will age well.
