Hurts had a MVP type year last year, finishing 2nd to Mahomes.

Based on last year, yeah, him in the Top 3 isn't that eye opening. Let's see how he does in his second full season.

Watson at 10 is the real howler.
he also had one of the most strong supporting cast. and a top notch defense.

This is just a prelude to Dak's haters eating more filth and looking even more stupid.

Once again, they SWORE he wouldn't be considered a top 10 QB this offseason.

And once again, players, coaches, scouts and execs will continue to rank Dak as a top 10 QB.

So that means those who are paid to know this sport... think Dak's haters are a bunch of know-nothing dunces.

yes, I do.
Then we'll have to respectfully disagree. IMO no QB that leads the lead in interceptions deserves to be considered elite. IMO Dak must perform much, much better this season, or the team should move on from him. I love the guy as a human being. I think he has a great attitude, is a humanitarian, and is someone I would like to meet. However, I think he owes this team a much better performance this season than last season.

I respect your right to your opinion. I just don't think it's accurate.

There’s 1 super elite win with whatever QB (Mahomes)
1 guys who’s another deep playoff season away from being a super elite win with whatever guy (Burrow)
4* guys with the all around talent to be in that Mahomes tier (Allen, Herbert, Lawrence, *Rodgers if you believe he hasn’t fallen off much physically)
3 guys who are superior athletes with the ability to throw but not quite elite throwers yet (Hurts, Jackson, Watson)
5 guys who are good to very across the board but not really elite at anything (Dak, Cousins, Geno, Goff, Carr)
4 guys who have some elite qualities but due to size, injury, and/or fall-off are now question marks (Murray, Wilson, Tua, Stafford)
4 outside looking in (Daniel Jones, Garrapolo, Tannehill, Mac Jones)

18 total guys you can win with, they just need varying levels of support. 4 guys who if you squint could do it, but they need it all to be absolutely perfect. Anyone not named above is not a starting caliber guy for more than a year or so, excluding Rooks obviously.

I find that it’s not necessarily a ranked order, just different tiers of support needed to win.

Deshaun is way too high imo and not judged off his most recent play. Lamar is a joke at his rank. Dak is about right. Any rookies who haven’t taken a nfl snap should be at the bottom.

It starts out okay but goes off the rails at 3. No way Hurts is the 3rd best QB in the league. Just stop. Someone did this ranking by media attention not by watching them play.
I'm so not an Eagles fan but Mr. Hurts did get to the SB last year and played some really good and consistent football last year. Top 5 in my estimate but what do I know. I am after all just a couch coach. No offense to our illustrious MOD.

Who is considering Dak elite. That's not even in the.conversation. but if you think geno Smith is better than dak then I get your agenda.

BTW, Stafford led the league in interceptions couple of years ago. He is not elite?

Ws any QB more effective with running the ball within his offensive game plan than Hurts?

He had an all-star team behind him. Mahomes for example, had a banged up team, and was banged up himself, and beat the Eagles. That's the difference between the two QBs.

I am not saying he is a bad QB, I am just saying ranking him top 5 is so knee-jerky.

Dak lead the league in picks, plus was horribly inconsistent. He's made some decisions that make him look worse than a rookie. In the Washington game, he through a boneheaded pass that should have been a pick 6. The only reason it wasn't was dumb luck. The Washington player dropped it, even though it went right to him. Then, on the very next play, Dak made the exact same error on the same play, but this time Washington didn't screw it up; it was a pick 6.

I remember the Cowboys' elite quarterbacks, Staubach, Aikman, Danny White, and even Bernie Kosar. Dak's not even in the same neighborhood as those guys. Even very good quarterbacks like Don Meredith and Craig Morton were better. Yeah, this guy's got to get a lot better. To be honest, I haven't paid any attention to Geno Smith. If you say Dak is better than he is, you're probably right. But Dak still needs to improve. We'll see if he reduces his number of picks. If he does, then I'll give him credit.

Just like the many in here, they failed to mention Dak had no weapons last year, plus an oft-injured Oline. Heck, Aaron Rodgers faired worse for the same reasons, yet they have him ranked higher? It's all personal bias rankings. So obvious.

You always come with this "Dak had no weapons". Then how did the team manage to win 12 games this past season? If someone says something bad about Dak, the other side of you mouth you come with, hey, he won 12 games two years in a row.

Then the other side of your mouth when Dak screws up in the playoffs because he is mental, well, "Dak had no weapons". How did he get to the playoffs without any weapons? When the team wins, Dak has weapons enough to win 12 games but when he fails in big games, he has no weapons. The excuses you give him are totally insane.

Dak has weapons to win 12 games, playoff loss, he has no weapons. Rinse and repeat out of both sides of your mouth. How embarrassing!
