Then we'll have to respectfully disagree. IMO no QB that leads the lead in interceptions deserves to be considered elite. IMO Dak must perform much, much better this season, or the team should move on from him. I love the guy as a human being. I think he has a great attitude, is a humanitarian, and is someone I would like to meet. However, I think he owes this team a much better performance this season than last season.

I respect your right to your opinion. I just don't think it's accurate.

I'd bet it wasn't two years in a row. It's entirely reasonable when your QB leads the league in picks to insist he do better in the next season. Brees took care of business. Let's see if Dak does.

He actually led the league in INT’s once in 2012, with 19 INT’s. He also threw for over 5,000 yards and 43 TD’s.

Stafford and T Lawrence led the league in INT's while one won the SB the Other lost his entire coaching staff...wonder what the diference was....

Well yeah he did do better the following season, but I’m just addressing where you said that no QB who leads the league in INTs deserved to be considered elite. Perhaps you jumped the gun a bit there?

Just looking at the list shows what a QB-starved league the NFL really is right now. After about the first half dozen, there's not a name that excites me. Good ones, yes, but not many great ones.

If you have a QB in the top 3rd (we may) and build a very good team around them, you will have a chance every year. I like what we have done coming into this season. Cannot have All Pro's at every position but I think we've covered bases about as much as we could have hoped.

If we stay healthy, I think our season comes down to what's between Dak's ears. This will be a defining season, one way or the other.

Dak can get into that 9/10 spot but he's not as good at the 8 QB's in front of them imo, that's not a knock, he just doesn't have the arm or the accuracy. He does have the heart and leadership, not sure about the head.
Dak can win it all if he can get out of his own way, Imo. He's a bit of a head case in playoff games to date but some QB's mature like fine wine and get better as they age, we'll see.
