i guess since Rush played with the same team and had a better winning percentage than dak he should be right around daks spot. Rush with his weak arm didn't have anybody and still won. :)

Just like the many in here, they failed to mention Dak had no weapons last year, plus an oft-injured Oline. Heck, Aaron Rodgers faired worse for the same reasons, yet they have him ranked higher? It's all personal bias rankings. So obvious.
...sort of like your personal bias suggesting Dak should be ranked higher.

This is just a prelude to Dak's haters eating more filth and looking even more stupid.

Once again, they SWORE he wouldn't be considered a top 10 QB this offseason.

And once again, players, coaches, scouts and execs will continue to rank Dak as a top 10 QB.

So that means those who are paid to know this sport... think Dak's haters are a bunch of know-nothing dunces.

...and yet it's fans that suffer watching Dak implode when it matters most.

If based on last year Brock should be higher than everyone he beat. If it's this year he shouldn't be on the list because he may not play at all.

Young and Murray couldn’t be more different. Are you just saying that because they’re short?
That's part of it.
We know Murray has near-elite speed. I'm sure Young is fast enough, but how fast?
.
Young probably will face similar challenges as Murray has, but at least Murray has his agility/speed to fall back on. We'll see about Young.

Kyler Murray had 800 rushing yards and 11 rushing TDs in 2020. He’s the second biggest running threat at QB next to Lamar Jackson.

Young had 0 rushing yards the year he won the heisman. Zero. One of the few QBs to do it entirely with his arm. He went 1st overall because he’s Accurate and adept at finding holes in complex zone schemes. His nfl comp is drew brees…. Are you just saying this because he’s black?

The fact though is Young is not a rushing QB as in college he had a total of 139 attempts for 162 yards and 7 TD's. He is, as you stated, the Drew Brees of the 2023 draft in terms of ability and skillset.

Everything factors in.
We've seen Murray throw a lot of dimes too. The man has passing skills, and speed, but I think his size does hinder him.
.
If Young rush for 0 rushing yards, that is shocking and a concern. IMO, he'll need to run some in the NFL.

Like Joe Burrow has to or like Brees did?

Well, yes.
However, most of the time Burrow and Brees use their legs to buy time to find an open receiver, or just to escape pressure.
Murray uses his legs as a real weapon...but as he ages, and injuries mount...he'll start to lose that.
If what you said is true, that Young is not a runner, well, IMO he better learn to use his legs, fast.
When you're giving up considerable size, you'll need other skills to make up for it.

Did the TEAM throw 2 INT's to cost Dallas the game vs. SF?
That's a great point. Our defense did its job that day. SF only scored 19 points, but we still couldn't win. Think of it. Three TDs with the extra points would have won that game. You could even have missed on of those extra points and still have won. When your offense can't outscore 19 points, something is wrong.

Keep also in mind the 2 Dak INT's gave SF 6 points and cost Dallas at least 3 points so a 9 point swing in total.

That's also a great point. I've been frustrated with some other Cowboy fans who act like Dak's picks aren't a problem. He was the league's interception leader from only having played 12 games. That's a huge problem. Whatever skills your QB has, if he throws a lot of picks, that greatly reduces his effectiveness, and it puts more pressure on your defense. There is, of course, no such thing as a starting QB who never throws any picks. The only way to never throw picks is to stay on the bench. However, it's entirely reasonable to expect your QB to not be the league's pick leader. Every pick thrown increases the other team's chance of winning the game. Dak did way better protecting the ball in his rookie season.

Until last year, Dak threw 50 int's in 80 games. So the question is, will he revert back to playing QB like that again or is his 15 int's in 12 games last year be the new norm for him?
