Is he alright? The best Romo is the one having fun, IMO.

I think he is more focused on the big goal. That being winning a playoff game.

He's gotta know that most opposing fans, and some mediots blame both postseason losses on him, and him alone.

He is being called a over-rated choker. You know, the guy that took a vacation in Cabo instead of preparing for a playoff game.

I think he wants to prove to everyone that he can, and will, overcome those thoughts.

Aikman was incredibly accurate at short and medium range. Romo is not that accurate but is very good. Romo is clearly more of a playmaker and much more capeable of improvisation. Aikman was clearly a leader and ran the offense; Romo is the same. BUT aikman absolutely shined in the playoffs and SB. THAT is where Romo has to make up a lot of ground.

Staubach had that indefinable something extra that Unitas and Montana and Elway had. Aikman did not. And honestly I am not sure Romo has it either.

Statiscally, sure.

But in case you havent noticed, regular season success doesnt matter around here

Romo has started and lost as many playoff games in 2 seasons than Aikman did in 5 (92-96)

Not to mention Romo has yet to win a postseason game.

Troy won his first seven and 11 of his 1st 12

Do I have to mention the Lombardi trophy count that favors Troy 3-0?

If stats are your thing and regular season success (to this point), Romo's the man

But Troy did it when it mattered most

Romo is maturing and developing just fine. This will be just his 3rd year as a started and to me, he's way ahead of scheldule of most QB's. He's coming into his own and this year will prove it. The guy is simply awesome!!!

Oh, ok!! Cause Romo is extremely accurate but hey, Troy is HOF accurate. To me, Troy was in a league of his own but I think Romo is gonna be special as well...

Why don't we win a game in January with Romo before we start saying he is better than a HOF QB.

If you have it, go back to the 1994 Opening day game in Pittsburgh--Switzer's first game.

I forget which quarter it was, but Aikman threw a quick slant to Moose. The LB covering on the play got to Moose early. Moose was on his way down to the ground with his left arm completely tied up.

Aikman put the ball on the Johnston's right side, wedging it between his torso and right arm.. to where Daryl couldnt drop it.

To this day I still believe its the most accurate pass Troy ever threw

I cringe when I see Romo's name next to Aikman and Staubach because Romo isnt even in their league, not even close. Romo has so much work to do. The good thing is I believe he hasn't gone backwards. If he can keep improving, maybe one day he can be mentioned with them w/out getting a cringe or a laugh, but right now I don't see it.

He is fairly close. In fact, as a pure playmaker, I would take my chances with Romo right now versus Aikman in his prime.

I hope all of the crap that everyone puts on him doesn't take the fun away from Romo.

As much as he says it doesn't it has to raise some havoc with him. He's human we can't forget that.

Now if we can get him to throw like Aikman then we got something.

Throw like Aikman?..Look Aikman had some nice accurate passes But he wasnt all that. Romo has much more potential then Aikman.
