Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas 21 Carolina 7 FINAL **MERGE**

Offense looked sharp on running attack, not so good on passing.

Defense looked solid on second half, but cant give too much credit, they're a mess offensively. DelHomme reminded me Eli Manning on his early days.

It was a win, but it didnt give a lot of answers...

Try it again .. testing it .. passed ...

Embarassing pass in the grass.

edit: yay, it worked. lol.

I hope Butler is for real. Buehler's been good and all, but we need more than that from this draft.

Hopefully Jason Williams can get healthy and become a player too.

Spencer played bad? He was pretty damn good in coverage and wasn't running himself out of plays. Victor Butler cam in when Carolina had to throw the ball and were rushing to get plays off. Seriously...

I don't know why it just started filtering the word .. I think I've fixed it ..

Looks good now. lol

Thanks:bow:

I know we won...so yah I'm happy but still mad as hell at Jason Garrett for calling again pass plays in favor of running plays at the 1 Yard line!!!! are you kidding me...ball on the 1 and he callsl 2 pass plays, this guys just unbelievable...how many rushing yards did we have like 200. I know many fans are happy about the win but I'm telling you guys Garrett's playcalling is gonna cost us some games.

run game is still sick.

we're not a very good passing team anymore atleast for now

Felix is good but fragile

Choice is solid

Defense played well

Romo still scares me

hello Victor Butler(that sound is me eating crow)

Steve Smith meet your daddy Tnew(more crow eating)

How great was I though in predicting that Garrett sucks more than carpenter?

pretty good

Garrett can't help himself

I pray that he'll ditch that Air Coryell passing tree

it's freakin' not working

Butler > Spencer?

as a pass-rusher, yes

I still think Spencer should start, he's pretty stout against the run and in coverage...when he's not getting sucked inside

but Butler needs way more playing time than he has been

Gotta remember half our draftees are hurt, lol.

Mike Hamlin, Jason Williams.

These boys are coming in midway through the season, it could get better for the Cowboys.

We still have work to do but I'm glad the team kept fighting. I think our playcalling held us back.

Lets admit that the first half was rough, but the second this team played like should have been all along. I hope this gives the team confidence/momentum etc for the rest of the season. My protective cover on my panic button was closed today but we'll see what happens in DEN.

Don't worry. October 25th will be here faster than you expect. Trust me. :)

oh get over it already.

maybe they should hire you, every play you would call would work right? because I know that's not true for any other OC that's ever called plays...even for Peyton Mannings OC...

We won this game in SPITE of dreadful coaching. Luckily, we have enough talent and our opponent was kind enough to hand us the game with little resistance in the 2nd half. A better team would have made us pay for Garrett's inept playcalling and Wade's lack of creative blitz packages.

The worst part of all this is Wade will allow this team to become content with barely beating a crappy team at home. He'll pat them on the back, tell them how great they are and trot out the same gameplan next week with the same mindset.

The direction of this team scares me. We are just talented enough to stay in contention all year, but nowhere near good enough to have any real shot at a title. This will result in few if any changes to the status quo, and this group of players will miss their opportunity at a title because of one of the worst coaching staff's I've ever had the displeasure of watching. The only real difference between Wade and Campo is the talent level of the players they coached.

I'd give it to the entire defensive unit. They stepped up as a group in the second half.

He did not look good tonight, and watching Victor Butler actually make an impact kind of reinforced how bad Carp has been to this point. He's a first round pick, and he's really been nada less than a total embarr***ment in that spot. He doesn't deserve the spot he's gotten.

I think the only reason he's starting is because we let Burnett go. I would have much rather resigned KB and cut this loser go. He's been useless other than a couple good plays in the Seattle playoff game a few years ago.
