Given how close the game was at that time he made the decision to go with two pass plays and how well we were running the ball. That was a bad time to get cute. we should have rammed it in in that situation. When your yds per run is greater than your yds per att, you need to go run heavy. Also, this is the second week when JG should have kept it simple at critical points in the game instead of trying to catch the D off gaurd.
Don't get me wrong, I have not been one to bash JG, but I think at times he out thinks himself instead of keeping it simple. Everybody knows that the strength of this offense is the running game and the short/intermediate routes (esp to the TE's). Since we really do not have a stretch the field wr, I think he really needs to focus a little bit more on the running game and let Romo dink and dunk down the field. This wears down the opposing defense and keeps our D off the field letting them stay fresh.
