Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 10 Denver Broncos 17 FINAL

Romo and his stats are meaningless when it comes to big games. He chokes and then throws 5 td's against a scrub team the next week. We will blow out KC and Romo will play great and say to the media it's a learning curve and we will keep working hard. Just when you face a comparable team with a good defense Romo you fold like a deck of cards. He basically cannot make the 3' put when it counts. Hats off to the rest of the squad, we witnessed a solid performance from all units, except Romo who was continually inaccurate and unable to be a difference maker.

Whats the good news?

Well Romo will have 3800 yards and 25 td's at seasons end and we can all say how he will turn the corner any day now.

I told you this offense is like Detroit's... Why do you think we went and got Kitna... big yards against scrub opponents...

Wow look at all the knee jerk reactions on this board! you guys are crazy...this team is still 2-2 there's plenty of time left in the season. The sky is falling! The sky is falling! you guys suck as fans. you're not a real fan like me. You see, since we are 2-2, that means the glass is half-full, but some of you fake fans will see it as half-empty. The Negative Nancies are taking over. Instead of crying and whining, you need to be a blind homer like me. Tony Romo is a great QB...he's better than Aikman. He wins big games. Just look at those stats of his, all nice and shiny. And Garrett is a genius...I can't wait for him to take over as HC. Forget TO. We don't need that clown. We've got undrafted Miles Austin. Just wait until we unleash on the Chiefs. All you clowns will eat crow.

[/sarcasm]
Keep on hacking at those strawmen.

Because that's exactly the kind of game that this team loses. After a bye week, at home, two weeks to prepare for your next opponent and make adjustments.

And Atlanta has a pretty good offense and their defense has been playing well.

We should beat Atlanta, but that has all the earmarkings of a trap game.

only good teams have trap games, the best we can hope for is to be a trap game for someone else.
When you suck every game is a big game

Before he was injured last year, he was 128-for-198 (64.6 percent) for 1,689 yards, 14 touchdowns, five interceptions and a 104.5 rating.

That's some kind of mediocre.

And every season so far, he has had a winning percentage of at least .600 and a rating of at least 91.4.

Do they hand out Lombardi trophies for that? Because if not, I really don't give a crap.

We are 4-0 the last four years after our bye. And have won 5 of the past 6

It's such a tease.

We're nothing without Felix. but he's gotta nurse his boo-boo.

He gets 9 carries a game and manages to get injured.

Cool, another statistic we can look at to get all happy about.

Until of course, captain overthrow and the rest of our slug WR take the field.

What happens IF we finish 7-9 or 8-8? What do you think changes in Dallas?
garrett is "given more responsibility", and will make a concerted effort to listen to his "idiot" players who proclaim that he adjusts like a flaming pansy...

phillips gets truly angry, and proves it by going on a hunger strike...

jones is truly disenchanted, & warns phillips & garrett that they are on a short leash; probably 5 years or less...

ticket prices go up, jessica goes down, & romo is not the intended receiver...

Then don't respond.

They don't hand out Lombardi Trophy's for Ware getting 20 sacks last season, either, but does that make it OK for people to claim Ware wasn't good at rushing the passer last season?

We lost today. So now Romo has never been any good, Ware has never been any good, Witten has never been any good, etc., etc., etc.

Right? Is that how it works?

No, please show me everytime they've been good as if it'll mean something about today.

We are frauds, plain and simple.

No way in hell we make the playoffs, 8 wins max on the year if we get lucky.

But we lost today, so the truth gets thrown out the window while people make up stuff about how bad we really are.

They've never been good, because we lost today, and that is all that matters.

Ware is the worst linebacker in the NFL, hands down. Witten can't catch a cold, and Romo couldn't even make a CFL team. Today's loss proves it.

Which completely refutes his argument that we typically lose when we come back from our bye week.

Doesn't mean we'll win but our loss is not written in stone as the CZob would have you believe.
