Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 10 Denver Broncos 17 FINAL

I will not waste another minute watching the Cowboys live this year. I will always be a fan and that is not changing thick or thin. All I can say is thank goodness for DVRs. If the Cowboys play a game worth my time I will give them my time if not oh well there are things I can do that are more productive.

Told you Felix was our whole offense. We have no playmakers.

Good job Jerry. We just have a bunch of slow peice of **** weapons.

Romo's gotta go! Until that happens, the Super Bowl is nothing but a dream for Cowboys' fans. He can't hold his mud when he is put under pressure, and he continuously misses open targets. Looks like we're in for another disappointing year, sorry to say.

We have no playmaking recievers other than Witten, no one has a clue which Romo will show up, our defense is weak, and other than special teams we're poorly coached.

I think the defense showed a few flashes today, but they had a few mental lapses as well. The biggest problem is that the offense only had about 60 yds in the 2nd. half prior to that last drive. When the offense is struggling in a close game bad things usually happen.

Craig

That we certainly did not get better by letting go of our best offensive weapon in the offseason.

I have really only seen one QB do anything with average wide receivers and that is Tom Brady. Sure Romo needs a top flight WR to help him out, but so does 99% of the QBs in the league. Sometimes I simply cannot believe the logic of some posters.

so why did we rid ourself of him before we had a replacement.

This team could be good with focus and discipline. How many times can you keep negating big plays with dumb penalties??? Why does it seem like none of the wide outs look like they know where to line up???

Denver had a ton of penalties too.

New WRs wouldnt win this game for us. Romo was terrible in the 2nd half and we have just plain stupid coaches. Our defense rarely closes other teams out. We have average to above average talent with below average intelligence. Throw in some unispired play and you get the choke job you saw here today. Things havent changed from the Philly game last year. We are not an elite team and we wont smell a superbowl for many more years. I love my Cowboys and will watch them every week I can, but I have no unrealistic expectations of bringing home a championship anytime soon. What an inaugaral season for a new 1.5 billion dollar stadium. State of the art facility with a mediocre team. Thats our reality. :(

when your qb is way off, you call some short passes (get choice in space), some screens, some slants, etc...to get him calmed down. you don't continually call 7-step drops, and get your already rattled qb sacked, etc. (you really don't want your receivers served up due to errant passes, either)...

jason garrett is obviously incapable of making these simple adjustments...i waited until this season to pronounce judgment upon him...he's the wrong man for the job (that sounds better than he sucks squeak-holes, eh?).

Definitely. What with all Wade's inaccurate incompletions and such. I can definitely see how Wade cause Romo to fumble, caused Romo to throw a red zone INT and overthrow every other receiver on the team. Definitely Wade's fault.

there's not a QB in the league who would not have fumbled there he got blindsided and stripped it happens The INT was part Romo fault and the other part was that it seems everyone on the offense has a different playbook.

Personally i'm just gonna blame it all on Jerry he hired all these clowns so he's ultimately to blame for not seeing how unbelievably bad they where last season and doing something about it. Continuity people,.. our season starts a year from now :banghead:

Think about it: decent but choking defenses, laughably inconsistent offenses with two DUMB QB's to "lead" them and ego maniacal narcissistic billionaire owners: I hate the skins, but my beloved Cowboys are the same team IMO. Giants and Eagles are light years ahead. Whomever Jerry hires next season:and it sure looks like it WON'T be REd will have to blow this all up and start over again: billion dollar stadium or not..............:banghead:

I think it's time to draft a WR in the first round.

Our WR play was putrid.

And so was the QB

Thank you Dallas for Jason Garrett, not trading Romo, getting rid of T.O. (the only playmaking WR) and letting Greg Ellis go cause Spencer is doing great. Great *** job!

What are some of you expecting from undrafted and 7th round receivers? You really think they will beat Bailey? Puhleease... This team hasn't brought in a quality WR in the draft since Irvin, and that was about 18 years ago. And some of you shunned the idea of getting Crabtree.
