Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 10 Denver Broncos 17 FINAL

We all laughed at the Giants receivers at the beginning of the season. How're they doing?

Manningham and Smith are no better then what we have......Jerry said so

Maybe sucking balls is what this teams needs right now. It is obvious that none of the recievers are scaring anyone. Dallas needs to draft the top receiver in this next draft and thanks to Garret, Philips, and Romo that might happen. Dallas needs a speedy receiver like a young Glenn, Holmes, or young Galloway to compliment Roy Williams. Dallas already has the speed at RB in Jones, now they need it at WR.

We still play SD, NO, Giants, Philly twice. I see 8-8 or 9-7.

Next week Rome a throw for at least 4tds and think people will forget what he does against the good teams....

8-8!!??

:lmao2:

We're going 6-10 and losing to KC next week. Book it.

No felix=no offense

No see, you cant be negative or realist on this board or your not a fan. It's in the rules!

I never knew that the only fans who want the team to win are the ones who stick their heads in the sand. It's amazing how mentally deficient some of the guys on here are.

Why did they have to tease me in the end? I thought they could actually get it done.

Oh well. Time to bandwagon the Saints and Bengals....

j/k, but seriously, fire the whole coaching staff.

no, but right before the hit he got checked by the DB, he was a good 20+ yds downfield.

Yes, this in fact did happen. Wayyyyyyyy after the 5yr rule of contact

thats what I was wondering.

he did come back in the game and even made a great catch...you could see he was dying right afterward...I'm guessing he's got a pretty significant injury and I bet he misses some time

Has to be somewhat serious considering he would havre likely had the balls that Hurd had the last two plays.

No kidding. Looked like our WRs were half asleep out there all afternoon. That's not to say Romo didn't make mistakes, but I think there was enough to complain about all around so I can't lay this one all in one particular spot--even though that really stuck out to me.

Ugh. Hate it when my 'boys lose.

Before you guys start jumping off bridges, consider the positives from today:

a) We proved that Roy 11 was worth 3 picks and that the current crop of receivers can certainly get the job done. It obviously was TO's fault as can be seen by the HUGE passing numbers and their ability to be on the same page that our guys are,

b) Wade style of coaching breeds champions! Why be hard on players like Cower, Billichick (sp), Coughlin, even how McDaniels treats his players. Being their friend certainly gets solid results,

c) Romo is one of the leagues top "clutch" qbs. He had 3 turnovers against the Giants, made adjustments and only had 2 today,

d) Fundamentals are overrated. Tackling, lining up right, being in the proper position are over blown. Simply by putting big names out there we can be successful. Who cares that they lost. So did other 1/2 the other teams in the league,

e) Jason Garrett's stock is still very, very high. How could it not be? He is one of the top offensive minds in football as has been evident by the 3 year decline in production. Baltimore lost out when he turned them down. And those other 6 teams that have rejected him. What do they know,

f) Bobby Carpenter is solid. I think enough is said here,

g) Campo has this secondary coached up. We were only 27th in pass defense coming in, and did you see how tight the safeties and corners were on that last play. They even ran in to each other offering support,

h) There was no need to dump Bruce Read last year. Special teams is so overrated. They are the one bright spot on this team and we are 2-2. last year were we 9-7 so nothign much was gained,

i) There was no need to make a change in Head Coach because he will change. How can this be more evident than by the leadership he shows on the sidelines. I cannot recall a single time when Wade doesn't look like a leader of men out there!

j) Our players are mentally tough. No doubt they can overcome adversity much like NE had to last year as is evident by how they beat a very bad Carolina team at home.

See, there are positives. This is not the end of the world. Super Bowl here we come!!!

ROMO cannot be a game manager and playmaker! He will be able to makes plays if we accept his mistakes=turnovers. So with the catch 22 understood it should be decision time at season end if we can continue with this team structure.

I feel a little empathy for Garrett because he is calling plays, so Romo does not **** up and commit more turnovers. Romo cannot find the open man in big games and evaluation of his skill set must be reviewed after the season.

Me neither but this board taught me both those things.

I think we were fool by the media and maily by ourselves.
We want our team to go back to it's glory days so bad, that we are trying to make heroes and leaders there they are not.

This is not a championship team
Romo is not in the league of Staubach o Aikman and NEVER WILL BE

Why would you throw back to back slants against one of the best DB's in the NFL with a 4th string receiver at that?
I don't know, but I'll be curious is THIS thread sticks around or is deleted like both of mine about the very same topic.

You throw to Bailey's side when you have a stud receiver over there, like Roy. Not when that guy is Sam Hurd. Where the hell is a throw to Witten or to the 6'7" Martellus Bennett ? Or a draw ? Anything ?

Im pretty sick of you calling out people that say anything negative about this team

Too bad ..... I only do it to the negative trolls like you, Bach, and a few of the others that crawl out of the woodwork after every game.

If you do not like it ...... tough.

period!

2nd straight game with no td

2 turnovers today
