You throw to Bailey's side when you have a stud receiver over there, like Roy. Not when that guy is Sam Hurd. Where the hell is a throw to Witten or to the 6'7" Martellus Bennett ? Or a draw ? Anything ?

Martellus is too stupid to even line up right half the time, no way you can depend on him.

This is not a Romo bash thread, but a true question. What is wrong with him? He is off. He has not looked truly sharp yet. Just my take, Garretts offense doesn't seem to be for Romo. I know he has to make the throws, but he sure made them in 07. Just an abberation?

Nope, Jerry Jones doesn't fire Head Coaches during the season.

We are stuck with Wade Philips to the bitter end, no matter what happens.

What sucks is we are 2-2 and have only played 1 Division Game.

when Wade didn't get fired i kinda realized this season was going to be a waste some time during to offseason i stupidly bought into the BS Jerry was selling again... my bad

Now i just don't care, this feels like 04 all over again we're done we got 1 more game on our "easy" part of the schedule before it really gets tough does anyone seriously think we're going to turn this around?

More like pouting because, believe me, he wants the ball on every passing play. Anything short of that is a personal affront. Won't be long before he starts pouting big time.

This overrated, overpaid and over-compensated-for receiver is at best, a lesser version of Miles Austin, except Austin is more talented.

Give me hurd, give me Austin, give me Crayfish or give me Ogle. Just don't give me Roy "Overrated" Williams. I am tired of his no-shows, his inconsitency and the reminder of how much we gave up for this barely average WR.

Cowboy fans deserve better!

I dont know. I have been a big Romo defender, but he has been off. Not sure what is going on.

My guess is his mechanics have been adjusted. I remember reading that he went to a more overhand throwing motion. His accuracy just isn't good right now.

....and I'll be the first to admit that at times I wasn't happy with this team today.

That being said, there are some positives that cam out of this game. The defense came up huge at times and kept us in the gam up until the very end.

Keith Brooking is a MONSTER in this defense. The dude is a huge upgrade over Thomas and as the season unfolds he will become more and more of a leader that this team needs.

The secondary for the most part has improved progressively as the season has unfolded. For the most part they seemed to be in position to make the play on the ball. That being said, the touchdown to Marshall really sucked and Newman should have made the play on the ball..

The run defense has become one of the better units in the league and has shut down 3 good running teams in the last 3 weeks. Kudos to Wade and the staff on that.

Also the pass rush has gotten better the past couple of weeks, however needs to be more consistent. And where the hell is Ware. The guy was an animal last year off the edge but seems to get handled fairly easy in one-on-one matchups

All that being said, The offense really laid an egg after the first quarter. I have no idea what happened to the running game as it appeared as if we were hitting them in the mouth very well and then it just disappeared. Does anyone know why Barber didnt play much in the second half. Maybe its just me but after halftime the bulk of the carries went to 23??

Romo flat out was off and it was due to his erratic throws that got Williams hurt. Had he completed some of the very easy passes that he missed on then the outcome of the game would have been much different..

Special teams as always was very solid..I about threw the remote at My 60-inch after the huge Crayton return got called back!!!

Anyways...The fact of the matter is we have lost to two good teams by a total of 8 points and both went down to the very last play, both were heartbreakers. I dont know if were going to make the playoffs or get rid of Wade or whatever but if this team puts it all together we could be very good.If not you get what we saw today and the Giants game. Now its time to drink away the sorrow:beer1:

As I have said before, Romo is a good QB, not a great one. The real problem is poor coaching. They expect too much from Romo. They wonl't stay with the run long enough. There was no reason to keep throwing when we had a 3 point lead. Using the clock would have been more useful than expecting Romo to throw downfield.

Why would any coach taunt Champ Bailey -- one of the best defensive players ever. Sam Hurd was not the call at the end of the game -- How about the sure handed Jason Witten? Hurd against Bailey was a low percentage option, so JC and Wade went for it and lost.

This will be a completely wasted season with Wade in charge. I expect 7-9 or at best 8 -8.
