Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 10 Denver Broncos 17 FINAL

The real question is why the *** was Witten in blocking? When the game is on the line he is your man 100% of the time. Throwing to the 3rd of 4th receiver, being covered by Champ FREAKIN Bailey, not once, but twice, is just insane.

Romo's fault for throwing it to Hurd twice, coaches fault for leaving Witten in to block.

I agree on both counts. And Austin was wipe open on the left side on both of the final two plays, but Romo was locked onto Hurd the whole time. You can't just sit in the pocket and rely on your fourth wide receiver beating Champ Bailey when the game is on the line.

More bad news, Romo is our QB

Even more bad news, after our #2 WR, Roy Williams, we have scrubs in Crayton, Miles and Hurd.

I do agree we have plenty of time left this year. But seeing the team make the same lame mistakes to loss games, I don't have faith that it'll magically change from here on out. It's been this way for some time now.

I disagree.

This team takes on the persona of their Head Coach.

I'm listening to Norm Hitzges right now and he is saying Wade Phillips went to Jerry Jones to increase the fines for players being late and Jerry Jones told him no and that the fines would stay at $100.

That is the problem, not Tony Romo.

You are the biggest flip flipper on this forum.

I guess you haven't read my posts this thread. I am 100% behind the staff after yelling at them last year. I was certainly out of line and incorrect. We're getting 6 this year!!!

Jerry has a skewed idea of fail.

Its okay...on this pace we can go 8-8. BELIEVE IT!!!

the OC is suppose to put his QB into a rhythm... having all his WRs run downfield on long developing pass plays is not the way to do that

dont you DARE talk about the future coach of the cowboys like that.

this is our brilliant offensive scheme. i rank jason garrett as a hall of famer in the charlie weis school of frauds.
Garrett graduated from like Stanford or something, and Romo was supposed to have great smarts.

This was the dumbest thing I've ever seen on a football field. We had 3 receivers in route and each were in single coverage and his plan was to throw it to our 4th receiver to their hall of fame corner, TWICE.

If you go back and look at the play again, Austin is pissed. Although Austin should worry about getting opened against 3rd string corners.

HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THE GENIUS?!?!? Think about last week after running for 195+. What other OC would have thrown 2 passes from the 1 yeard line with a running attack like that. PURE GENIUS!!!

If that is true Jerry is now Al Davs and has reverted back to his ways when he hired Campo and has ignored everything Jimmy and Parcell's has taught him about winning Football games.

Jerry is still looking for the credit and accolades that he thinks should be lavished on him.

Just saw some highlights on NBC and Miles beat his man easily, he was a good step or 2 ahead of his guy. Not sure why Romo was locked onto Hurd both times.

I saw it as well but it was a horribly drawn up play. You only have 10 yards to play with and you run two wrs into the same area of the endzone drawing most of the defense to that area and throwing into that area.

You need to get the right matchups and we didn't do it. That's on Garrett for not having the right guys on the field. just more of what we are unfortunately becoming used to.

Jerry is more interested in his new stadium than he is in winning football games. That becomes more and more clear every week.

This is getting so old.

Turn over the reigns to Stephen and let's get on with real football for ONCE!

That'll never happen so let that idea go.
