Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 26 Kansas City Chiefs 20 FINAL OT

This is why our coaching staff sucks!!!! They have been holding Austin back all this time...just like with Steve Smith we suck in the talent department...

Please take this negative crap elsewhere. The Cowboys needed a win and they got one. They have identity problems right now, but this ship can be righted. Today could be the start of that process. Try to be happy and if you can't, please go elsewhere.

HH, I agree with alot of what you are saying.

However, we came out with a win and who knows, this team may start to start to come together.

This team needs a coach who can get it to execute better in all facets in one game and with consistency.

When was the last time we had a solid performance by STs, Defense, and Offense in one game - against a "decent" opponent?

We just went to overtime and won in spite of ourselves against arguably the worst team in the NFL. If Kansas City knew how to tackle at all we probably lose today. Anybody who thinks this team is going anywhere in the longterm is fooling themselves Yeah, we're 3-2, but the teams we have beaten are now a combined 1-14 and the one win was Carolina over hapless Washington. We had what, 15 penalties today? Our defense showed once again that a Wade Phillips coached unit is INCAPABLE of coming up with a stop in the 2 minute drill. Our offense was fairly inept against an awful defense, with 14 of our points coming solely as a result of Kansas City's inability to tackle anything. The few lone bright spots from today's game (Austin, Choice, Ware, Ratliff) were completely overshadowed by the complete and total ineptitude of guys like Flozell, Crayton, Hamlin, and of course Wade and Garrett.

The worst part of today's game is that so many of you will use this as proof that we are coming togther and this was somehow a turning point in our season. Equally as bad is the fact that it takes a little heat off of our coaches, who are somehow feeling their way blindly to victories over inept teams. In a way, a loss would have almost been better IMO because it would have removed any remaining support our coaches had from the fanbase, something that will happen by season's end regardless. Might as well get it out of the way early, but now we get to hear about the great win over Kansas City until we get pounded at home by an actual team in two weeks.

While a partly agree with your opinions I do think that it gives this team something to work on, and it is a starting point. I'll wait and see what happens during this bye, if this team really wants to turn it around they should be practicing the next two weeks.

I heard this after the New York game last year, and we all saw how that turned out.

This team is being coached by Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett. Until that changes, this team is going nowhere.

If insanity is doing the same thing over and voer and expecting different result, then much of our fanbase needs to be committed for constantly believing Wade will turn it around.

Atlana is going to absolutely destroy us

This team is going nowhere. All today's game did was appease the bandwagon fans and village idiots of the board, who think an exciting OT win means we're heading somwhere other than 7-9

lol I agree

it's gonna be funny reading the "all is well, ALL IS WELL AND IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE I'M GOING TO SAY YOUR OPINION IS STUPID AND I'LL DELETE YOUR POST" BS this week

than stop coming to the board for the season and posting!!!!!!!!!!! SHow us up, show us what true fans do. Have at it. Show us ol wise one.

Thank God...

Miles played like a man. Breakin' tackles, going up and grabbing the football like Irvin.

Romo missed a couple of passes by a little, but had a very good game.
The D is pretty good, but they consistently choke in the 4th. OT was better.

We have no punt returner.

The penalties have been our undoing for years and that has shown no improvement.

I feel a little relief knowing that the season isn't over, but I can't help but feel discouraged by the same warts that continue to show up.

3-2. Come back with Felix, Sensabaugh, a confident Miles...
All hope is not lost.
We got the W. Go Cowboys.

IMO, a moral loss. There are positives to this game, and I hope the team can take those positives and build upon it (Choice, Barber, Romo's play, etc). I just hope they don't see it as a big win, but a win that showed numerous flaws heading into a Bye week. If the team can get healthy and improve upon their misteaks, then we will be fine. We have only played 1 division game. There is a lot of games left. But I hope they don't become arrogant or overly confident after today. Again a moral loss IMO but there are a few positives.

For all those who say it's just the chiefs.

Why didhalf the forum pick us to lose?

Enjoy the win guys

how about you go somewhere... somewhere being "reality"

This team has no discipline and it shows every game to the novice spectator.
The mental mistakes w/ the highest penalized team from last year has carried over to this year. Any remnants of the great Big Bill are now gone.

Do you think that they will really keep Austin out of the starting lineup? 250 yards and 2 TDs in his first start. Come on, Crayton needs to be this team's 3rd WR.
I don't know. This coaching staff has a way of keeping its talent off the field.

250 yards is great for Miles, but he should not have had that opportunity to get that 10th catch. The defense should have held the late lead.

At least it's a win. Much better than a loss.
agreed

Blah blah blah...dude we just won the game and im happy as hell...GO COWBOYS:starspin

And fans like you are THE biggest problem with this franchise. No other team in sports has the kind of blind homer support that the Cowboys do. Jerry benefits from this like no other.
