I don’t agree Romo is the problem. He made that last drive...that was vintage Romo. I believe teams are taking Witten out of the game. They are not converting 3rd downs. Pass, Run, doesn’t matter...have to convert. Roy Williams has to be the worst offensive player on the field...i can’t stand him any longer. Those passes were high but catchable. Williams is a major problem in the offense. He needs to be benched.

Our WRs just aren't that good. Austin hasn't proven that he can consistently beat double teams and Roy can't really do much of anything. And Crayton is up and down. That makes it easier to take Witten out of the game.

Two nice things today on offense (besides the clutch 4th quarter performance and the improved running performance): Free was good and Bennett was more involved.

The second high pass he dropped was not that catchable. Romo is to blame for that one, it was way high and looked a bit in front as well.

I do hate Roy, though. Meanwhile, TO goes out and gets 197 yards and a TD.

Did anyone else hear Irish jig music? Was that Fox, or music being played in the stadium?

I'm beginning to agree with the latter. Something is bad wrong there.

:laugh2:

Yeah I heard it, it was in the stadium.
Can't imagine who's idea that was, but I found it funny.

That song is played in "The Departed" if you've seen it.

Shipping up to Boston by the Dropkick Murphy's

That sounds about right. I think I looked it up a long time ago.

Trust me, Austin was open a lot today. Romo didn't see him on at least two plays where he was wide open downfield. Then there was one should have been big play where Austin needed to sit down in the zone, and he kept running, and Romo threw it behind him.
