Are you serious? You are trying to defend Garrett after another horrific offensive performance? Do you realise Garrett is in charge of BOTH the run & pass? The run was working great till Barber fumbled, plus you have to convert 3rd downs.

That's my whole point.

Execution is always the most important thing, yet everyone wanted to blame Garrett last week that we lost.

Dallas wins despite Romo's awful passing.

Romo's passing has been inconsistent all year. High passes, low passes, behind guys, to far in front... He had A LOT of those bad passes here today.

if Romo hits on some of those passes, w/ the way they were running the ball, this game could have been a blow out.

Romo should buy every guy on the defense a steak dinner b/c they bailed him and the offense OUT.

That has been my argument all along. We're apparently on the same side here.

What I'm saying is execution was the problem last week, and it was never the play calling as the main problem.

I'm saying that Garrett is in charge of the offense. I don't care that his playcalling was better this game. They stunk it up out there. Execution was just so poor I can't comment a lot on the playcalling.

He's still the man. The offense is failing this team. That's on Garrett. And Wade. And Jerry. It's more on Garrett. It's his rodeo.

NO, IDIOT!! Garrett is The Glaring Weakness On This Team (please note the caps to denote a title) and 7 points against a losing team does nothing to exonerate Garrett, but instead should bring an even more intense scrutiny on his ability as offensive coordinator to put points on the board.

Please remember, even David Shula managed a win against eventual Super Bowl champ that year (Was) but he still was an awful o-coordinator, but I'd put Garrett at his level (a low level D-II college offensive coordinator).

If this team has any intentions of going to the playoffs and beyond, Garrett must pull his head out and change his philosophy, or it's gonna be like last year or the year before...nothing to write home about.

I got the feeling in this game that Garrett was going out of his way to run it just to make a point. I don't think anybody is asking him to become as run happy as he has been pass happy. We just want a little more balance.

am i only one who does not have a problem with the way garrett called the game today. his play call was pretty balanced for most part. the problem was that the receivers mainly williams and romo was just horrible in executions of pass plays. our receivers are just not doing a good job of getting open. i thought the pass protection was ok it was just romo and the receivers are completely out of sync right now. they need to get together or the boys will be blown out against the giants and chargers.

Ok and i agree with that point. But how many give Garrett the credit when the offense is clicking and they are executing? Can’t have it both ways...if you are going to give him credit for the good you also have to give him credit for the bad. Can’t pick and choose.

In fact the defense only gave up 6 points and even if Washington had made those two FGs, it would've been 12 points. Your offense should be able to score more than 12 points. So let's give the defense some props.

Execution is the key. Romo's passes were all over the place until the final offensive drive. Is it Garrett's fault that passes are thrown high or dropped? Is it his fault when Barber fumbles? Is it his fault when someone false starts or jumps offsides? We can't blame Garrett for everything. We wanted more runs, he gave us more runs. He also dialed up the pass to win it. Whatever works. I'm not gonna ***** and moan after a victory. This is the NFL. A win is freakin' win. If the players had executed better, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Very rarely (unless it really sticks out) will you ever hear me say "Wow, what a call by Garrett"

It's usually going to be, wow what a throw/catch/run/block, etc.

I've said many times coaching gets blamed because it's the easiest excuse for fans most of the time.

I thought Garrett getting blamed last week was laughable. But those that think he's terrible will never give him credit for the last drive of the game (which was based on passing, which everyone was hating on him for)
