CeeDee is a great WR. That said, he plays a position that is completely dependent on the QB having time to make accurate throws. He needs a running game to force safeties up and open up space. The late Matt Millen proved the point that you can't invest a lot of resources in the WR position and field a competitive team. We didn't overpay CeeDee. We overpaid the position and until the cowboys start viewing their roster more practically, they have no chance of building a team that can compete for super bowls.
I hear you build the trenches and you make everybody's job easier

Cowboy fans once again not understanding whats going on

When you have a QB not even attempting to look your way because theres a safety over the top, u would be aggravated too
There were times where Dak did look his way and he fumbled or has dropped passes. His fumble killed any momentum the Cowboys could have had in the first half.

Sheesh if this guy could just keep his head in the game and play till the end maybe we have a chance.

For 30 mil you can't hear footsteps you can't fumble you got to catch the ball when it's in your hands.

You need to be a leader stop hanging your head and pouting and whining.

That guy's a full-blown quitter I'm going to sick Rockport on him.
This is just a well-rounded BAD TEAM...............

CeeDee the next scapegoat.

Guy was doubled the whole game, which means opposing defenses are willing to send another man over to him and let others beat them. The Saints doubled him last week. They are sending Lamb in motion and defenses are staying in zone.

That would logically entail the main problem is thr bum at QB that is lucky he has Aubrey to kick from 60 yards out..

So Lamb could have stopped momentum that the Ravens had, but Dak’s garbage play against the Packers couldn’t have stopped momentum?

It’s just wonderful watching all the excuses for Dak..

what about Dak’s should have been safety, but was bailed out by the ref?

Look at how wide open the 87 was and Dak was staring right at him.. what a bum

Overeaction time ? ...

Does Lamb make it a habit of fumbling around the goal line ?

Some WRs are gonna brood , pout and get moody - a team has to know how to deal with them individually
especially when the going gets rough.

- We saw Cincy's WR chase go nutty (ala vs Chiefs) and cost his team a chance to win, when he doesn't get things going his way.

- Stephon Diggs does it with every team he's been with, ..
- Philly's Andre Brown tends to get the same way..
- its' said that even the quiet Amari Cooper can fade out on his team if he gets moody enuff.

Here's the biggie though,... how much does Lamb see/respect his authority figure in McCarthy the HC ?

It was a huge mistake to pay him......
LOL ! ... Typical clueless fans wanting to create a villain to hate on ...

Led entire NFL in receptions, and been at top of total receptions by WR last couple of years, ..elite in run after the catch, contested catches
and been the most durable of WRs, despite the pounding he takes (only one missed game in NFL career)

Yet a huge mistake to pay him ?

And what happens to ceedee when they're not playing the giants, commanders, and panthers of the world???......you guessed it, he gets bullied, overwhelmed, throws a fit, then disappears

No here's the biggie we paid 34 million a year for this guy.

We're paying him to be a leader catch the ball don't hear footsteps don't fumble on the goal line give us a chance to win.

We are paying him to be our Michael Irvin our Jerry Rice not have all the quirks of the league dysfunctional.

He got paid and doesn’t care anymore. Typical of players on this team. It’s the culture. Almost like a toxin in the area intoxicating the players no matter if they are drafted, traded, or signed off the streets. They all inherit this putrid thinking.
Thank you for writing about the reality of this team.

Lamb led the entire NFL in receptions last year - with opposing teams focusing on him ...how is that not a No.1 WR ?
This is a declining team that is going nowhere with a shiny receiver and overpaid QB on the roster. Paid the wrong guys at the wrong time. This team needs to be rebuilt from the inside out.
