The 4th down catch was so tough! That catch made up for his fumble on the punt return earlier in the game haha.

Wilson deserves a ton of praise for how he fills his role here! Best WR corps in the league
I dont think it made up for the fumble because he recovered that fumble, now had he lost it then I would agree. It was a huge catch for sure and right now we would have taken the L if it wasn't for him and to be honest when i saw it leave Dak's hands and in his direction it looked nearly impossible to catch.

That catch was absolute clutch. Those are the types of drives that elite teams would do.

The Cowboys will need Wilson and Brown to stick and perform when they start churning the roster create some balance. They are good players and Dak trusts them in the moment.
The reality is that they are going to have to replace Gallup next year.

Wilson made a Circus catch against the Giants last week also.

That was a difficult pass to haul in on 4th and 4.

Now you see why I've been crying for some 4 wr formations when Gallop gets back. Esp on critical downs

Wilson has some really good go up and get a ball skills. Why we are not utilizing that more esp in the red zone makes very little sense. He looks like Dez Jr lmao

That was a critical down and he came up clutch and converted it. Cooper was the only other receiver open btw but he was behind the chains.

Wilson would have had a great day had Dak not threw it behind him twice. One ball was caught by schultz and the other was the int in the end zone. Plus he had a 50+ yard reception that was called back by a penalty on tyron Smith.

The TD he dropped in the end zone was a great play by the defender but some will say he shoulda caught it.

Had things gone his way he would have put up big numbers like ceedee today because he did get open.
I like to see those 4 WR formation inside the 10, spread the defense, put zeke or pollard in the back field.....let the OL just open holes and force the defense to drop back into coverage. Zeke is a very good blocker, so he gives us 6 blockers if needed......any of those guys could win their 1-on-1....that would be tough to defend.

No question. Can't keep Coop and Lamb, either. The WR position is way out of balance with the roster. They need to sign the unheralded guys and continue developing them into starting caliber players. Both Brown and Wilson are FAs after 2021.

Coop will be done here after his contract is up. If his injuries keep up it may be batter to just try to sign Gallup and let Coop walk. I love Cooper but his lower extremities are constant issues. Lamb is a few years down the road. I hope we can get Wilson for under 10 but a WR lacking team might give him a Laurent Robinson deal! Got to keep drafting good ones!

They will keep Lamb. May get an extension offer after Coop is released. He is an alpha dog.

Agreed when I saw that ball in the air I thought he was overthrown then he just came down with it. Great clutch play by the #4 receiver.

Great thread. We aren’t talking about this play enough. I watched it a dozen times last night. Unreal catch, add the situation it was in, and it’s even better.

how in the world can the Cowboys keep Cooper, lamb, Gallup and Wilson..its an embarrassment of riches that having a 160mil qb, 15mil rb , some highly paid OL, Shultz and jarwin to decide on and then on defense Tanks deal etc eating part of Jsmith deal as well..

im not sure who they can keep and how they decide who to let go,

better enjoy this season..its why most season are what one would call a "One OFF"

dont expect to have the same players year in and year out..we may lose Gallup and wilson..or move coop etc to stay younger and healthier who knows..big decisions coming..

now if somehow some of our payers do the Bucs blueprint and some of our high paid guys decide to rework their deals and take a real pay cut, like Big ben also did, not move money down the road, true pay cuts and unselfishly say only if you can bring back this core and add to it, they will make the sacrifice..

doubt it but hey, one can dream.
