Miami loses Mossart AND Waddle, what do they do? They double down on Tyreek. Why? Because he's their playmaker and they trust him to make the play. Yet the Cowboys constantly take the ball away from CeeDee because teams play coverage towards him. Nobody to blame but Dak or McCarthy for not trusting Lamb. Trust your playmakers and let them do work!

Who cares about Cooper. Go root for the Browns man.
So gd sick of hearing about Cooper on here. I NEVER saw this much love for Cooper as a Cowboy. You so called fans are some of the most hop on the bandwagon when it's convenient poster I've ever seen.
This couldn't be more wrong. There was a group that trashed Cooper regularly, and couldn't wait to see him go. Some others and myself always appreciated what he did for the offense, and the difference he made on and off the field. He's a big reason CeeDee has developed at the rate that he has. Coop was his mentor.

I liked the player, was upset that he was let go for far less than market value, and followed up on his career in Cleveland. I wish he was still in Dallas. He made the offense great, and it's nice to see him thriving at his next gig. What's done is done and there's no sense in holding onto the past, but to completely dismiss the player because he's moved on is ridiculous.

Many NFL QBs can "throw a receiver open" even when coverage is tight

Dak ain't one of those guys. If the WRs and/or the play design can't create major separation on almost every route, he struggles.

I could be wrong, but it seemed like the play calling got conservative in the 2nd, 3rd and some of the 4th quarter. Ceedee was feasting in the first quarter and they were throwing the ball early and often. Seemed like they tried to establish the running game and that did, in effect, take Ceedee out of the game.

The last couple of drives, they went back to throwing on first down and trying to get the ball to Lamb.

Blame Prescott all you want, but no one on their current roster at Qb putts together that last drive.

Ceedee was complaining about the playcalling, not the Qb in my opinion. He was *****ing to McCarthy on the sideline at one point.

Am I crazy or did others not see this? And the Dowdle experiment should be over at this point. Unfortunately they don’t seem to have anyone else.

I definitely don't see a lie in this post.

I was wondering if maybe when it started to rain and the ball got wet Dak didnt feel confortable throwing the ball. He pulled the ball down several times and took a sack or ran. My bet is Dak does not like throwing a wet ball. He proved that against the Bills.

Good summary. That’s the “it” he doesn’t have. Throwing guys open. So we’ve maxed out his talent and the most we get is a good regular season and possibly a WC win. We’ve plateaued as a franchise. IMO I say we blow it up and try and find someone that has a higher ceiling and can throw guys open. Me personally, I feel any season we don’t win the Super Bowl is a fail and any season we are not improving is a fail. We’ve plateaued with Dak starting in 2016 and haven’t improved since his rookie year. In some ways we’re going backwards, Ala getting worse on the road.

Maybe so. Either way, Dallas has shown they really cannot lean on the running game this year. They can sprinkle in runs to keep the defense honest and pick up yards here and there, but they have to be aggressive with their passing attack on early downs, in my humble opinion.

Tyreek is the best WR inthe NFL and his speed is feared by 99.9 CBs. Tyreek has the ability to get over the top of any coverage which is why DBs are usually 10 yards back.

I don't think Dak doesn't trust Lamb, Dak needs a clean pocket to get Lamb the ball. Tua gets the ball out of his hands faster than any QB inthe league. That's the difference

It was his contract that got rid of Cooper.
The vaccine wasn't mandated. And thank God he was smart enough not to get it.
His contract?? Jerry pays boatloads of money to mediocre injured players and cripples the team with awful contracts. Thats his specialty. He would have paid Cooper if he hadn't attacked Dak.

He wasn't going to give Cooper another contract, It's pretty much common knowledge.
