Typically Mondays are not a day off. They recover, go over film, lift, and light practice working out the kinks from the game before.

Secondly, if I have a bad day at work it's not in front of the entire nation.

I don't think it's unrealistic to not go out. That said there's going out, and there's getting obliterated. There's a big difference in the extent of it. I wouldn't criticize my players for making the decision to go out, but I'd forewarn them win, lose or draw they are targets for trouble. I'd also probably think more highly of the guys who were committed to the grind than the guys who were out blowing off steam.
You think Mike Irvin was committed to winning ? Going out partying is part of the grind for many of them, not opposed to it.

These aren’t middle school boys dude

Where did Jerry Jones meet his side chic "baby mamas" at, the Grand Ole Opry or at some back wood rally?

I'm sure Jerry could give them some good advice on having kids around the country by random chics.

Irvin is an absolute legend and a 3 time super bowl champion. He was the emotional engine of a dynasty. He was supported his coach 100%. He will be remembered forever. He wore a fur coat to his court dates like a boss.

Comparing him to these children is ridiculous.

Yall just looking for anything to complain about. Who cares what they are doing in their down time. They are allowed to have lives outside of footbchips.

I totally agree. So many weak people in our fanbase who whine, cry, ***** and moan about EVERY little thing.

When fans have bad days at work, they still go out and have a good time to unwind, relax and enjoy life..... But when athletes have bad days at work, they supposed to just go home, shut the blinds and curtains and sit in a dark basement?

The hypocrisy on this board is truly sad.

If you do not see the difference between a player happy to have his bag and a player that wants to be remembered forever as a champion it is because you do not want to see it.

It is the exact same thing in the NBA but I find the NBA is such a perfect example of this because there are so few players it gets magnified.

The talent at the top is there and it is incredible. It literally becomes all about desire to win. Winning must be everything.

Kobe, Jordan, Lebron, Shaq, Duncan the list is endless. Killers who simply had to win. Did they love the millions of course they did but winning was what really mattered.

Arenas, Carmelo, Paul George, Harden, Embiid this list is also endless. All of these people were beyond talented. They were happy with the millions and the fame and that is OK. Most people are and why wouldn't you be.

Personally I feel like the names in the first list are gods among men. The names in the second list are incredible talents. I can't even dream about being that good at basketball. They are also losers. They are clowns. They are bums.

Diggs is clearly trending towards bum. CD also appears to be heading down that path.
Wow. If those incredible talents are losers, clowns and bums then what does that make you?

Sometimes you just need to blow off some steam. Some people sulk at home, others need to get out.

I don't care what these players do in their free time provided they're not committing crimes and performing on Sunday.

So you’re not actually mad they went out. You’re just mad the team lost and are incapable of noticing the difference.

I don't recall being mad. I said it was poor optics and they need to be careful.

As far as winning vs losing, absolutely 1000% i will give slack to a winner every time. Call me a hypocrite and I'll agree. There's little about being a fanatic that isn't hypocritical.

I'd want to go out and get blacked out drunk too if I realized I tied my career to Jerry Jones.

Ah...we got us an internet psychologist.

If only our players were as mad about it as you ...claim...fans are, things might change.

They should have been at Dak’s house, laying cement and framing for the new mansion…

Why? Be more specific with real facts here.

For example, Lamb is said to be a pretty hard worker, routinely studying film on CBs, etc. So what is your evidence that he's drifting towards just being a good player who made money and now doesn't care about winning? Because he went out partying after a loss?

You cite Kobe like he's some sort of norm. Kobe was a rare exception. Holding players to that standard is kind of silly but expected from a guy that routinely just ***** on all our best players.
