Plain and simple

  • Plays all over the formations
  • Shows up in big games
  • Shows up on the road
  • Reliable injury-wise (knock on wood)
In this terrible offense, he is on pace for:

111 catches
1537 yards
7 TDs

He is a number 1 receiver and if you think otherwise, youre insane
Well some of the zoners want to trade CeeDee and Parsons to be able to draft Kaleb Williams so he certainly can play.

so you are going to pretend that me and you havent had this same argument last year?
We did, and if you remember my argument, absolutely nothing has changed.

Nobody said Lamb wasn’t capable of a 150yd performance. Gallup is too. Would that make Gallup a true #1 WR? Of course not. The argument against CeeDee is, like Dak, he has great performances every year but he’s way too inconsistent to be in the grouping with the top WRs in the NFL

How many TD catches did he has going into this game? Would you believe One?How many 100 yard games did CeeDee have going into this game? Still only one.

Maybe he does it against Philly next week. But will he do it the week after that, and the week after that? We both know the answer is no. He’ll show up again a random weekend in December, put up a season rivaling last year, and everyone here will give each other high fives.

If that’s worth 30m$ a year to you, go right ahead, I won’t complain. But the fact CeeDee had this big of a game only further exemplifies the point: the last time CeeDee had even 70 yards and a TD in the same game was before Christmas last year. If you said that about Tyreek, about Davante, about Stefon, about AJ, about JJ, on and on, the narrative would be, “what’s wrong with them?” But with CeeDee it’s, “CeeDee’s great, isn’t he?”

Amari's talent was far greater than his presence, leadership, impact etc.. Amari was electric when we initially acquired him but was a no show far too often.

This is a terrible argument…

For 1, hell no Michael Gallup isnt capable of a 150 yd game. Not now, not ever if you put him as the top receiving option in this offense.

2, Ceedee had two 100 yard games this season before this game. Your original argument was the fact that he lacked the 100 yard games on his resume and now he has 8 in his last 17 games.

September 8th, 2019. Was he a true #1 then? No. 1 game doesn’t change a player’s entire career trajectory.

You’re right, he now has 3 out of 7 this year, to go with his 3 total TDs and 2 total double digit catch games.

with several dominant defensive performances. he was top ten in all the major stats last year and is continuing the trend despite the widely noted overall offensive struggles of the team as a whole. he is absolutely a #1 and one of the best wrs in the league even if there’s a tier above him

It depends on how you define #1. Is he the best receiver on dallas? Yes. Does that make him a #1?

i just listed why he is, not because he’s the best dallas has lol. he’s a stud. there was some room for argument over a year ago, and he’s put it all to bed. unequivocally.

I don’t agree, he’d be an elevated player if he wasn’t the focus of the opposing defenses

It's nice to see that all the joy and frenzy when he fell to us was not in vain

Would be nice to have them both but seems like amari cooper was born with some sort of nagging injury and yes he disappeared in big moments
