Exactly. What QB's performance is not affected by the quality of his offensive weapons??? Lamb didn't say anything untrue, in fact I'm not sure it was even particularly inflammatory. I mean what's the big deal? He didn't say Purdy was an untalented QB, He said he would be unsuccessful if he didn't have offensive weapons......Where's the insult in that???
That same statement would aptly apply to every QB in the league. Sometimes I think we are way too quick to unfairly criticize our own guys just because we're unhappy about losing in the playoffs.
Lamb is an excellent player and so is Parsons, yet all we see is pages of negative attacks about them. Maybe we need to relax a little bit and give our guys a break.

Why are some people surprised that a player esp a wr says a QB needs weapons? How many good offenses have no weapons/talent at skill positions? Guys like Mahomes can do more with less but he still has some good players on offense. And Brock has a lot going for him on that offense.

Brock will continue to be successful without CeeDee Lamb on his team. Whatever Purdy needs to be successful, CeeDee Lamb obviously isn’t it. Brock Purdy has been to two NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl in his two year career. He does not feel the need to talk about players on other teams. He’s a winner. Anyone can have an opinion, but as a member of any team if sharing your opinion could possibly cause animosity than it’s better to keep it to yourself. He is indirectly saying Purdy would not be as good without those weapons, indicating better weapons make a better quarterback. Well, Dak did not play in the most recent Super Bowl. Can we surmise from CeeDee’s comments that the Cowboys would have been better with better weapons? And since CeeDee has indicated he wants to be one of the highest paid receivers in the NFL, he must think the lesser weapons are his teammates. CeeDee is not the brightest bulb in the marquee to begin with. Maybe he should just shut up. Brock Purdy knows more about playing quarterback in the NFL than CeeDee Lamb ever will. Notice Purdy does not feel compelled to talk about CeeDee’s prowess, or lack there of, as an NFL receiver. Remember the year Dak had nobody until we traded for Amari Cooper? Without that trade maybe Dak wouldn't be here now.

Cee Dee is another choker In a long line of chokers of this franchise. Talks a lot, puts up big numbers against terrible teams and disappears in tough games. His drops contributed mightily to Dak’s mental a collapse against Greenbay.
