Being drafted by an expansion team — yea, he had a real shot. Just because he wasn’t great when playing doesn’t disqualify him from knowing the game — or else many great coaches shouldn’t be coaching. You just can’t stand the truth — that Dak is mediocre.
Kurt Warner said differently than what David Carr said on certain points. I'll take the opinion of the QB who was successful and is now in the HOF. Even CeeDee said this receiving crew did not help out their QB. You just can't handle opposing views not blaming everything on Dak. Suck it up because Dak is here to stay.

There are many quarterbacks who didn't win Superbowls on their rookie deal my friend.

Factor in that Dak also played under some weak offensive coordinators especially the junior college level offensive coordinator who just left to go to the Chargers. Again, I don't think Dak is the long term answer for us, but he's played better than his whole draft class and he's a 4th round pick.
Was a bad class for QBs indeed, with only three left starting in this league.
You have to ask the question and answer honesty.. would Goff have taken this team further?

Dak is already surrounded by NFL level talent. It is fallacious thinking that surrounding him with other NFL players will magically fix his deficiencies. He is who he is and we have had plenty of time to see it.
Fallacious:laugh:

The Definition of Fallacious is thinking a QB would not be better switching from George Kittle to Dalton Shultz....

Dak Haters HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PAPER THIN and Belly always exposed...:lmao:

CeeDee Lamb thinks Cowboys are not giving Dak Prescott what he needs to succeed
The Dallas Cowboys fell short from their main objective this year: the Super Bowl LVII. CeeDee Lamb analyzed their season and has revealed Dak Prescott's biggest issue: the lack of talent surrounding him.

After being eliminated by the 49ers, the wide receiver got real on the differences between both rosters and thinks that's the main problem Prescott has that's preventing him to succeed.

"You gotta surround (the quarterback)," Lamb said to Around the NFL podcast on Wednesday. "You go look at the Eagles, and they've got three receivers, a great tight end group, they run the ball well, the O-line is very phenomenal. You look at San Fran, they surrounded their quarterback and you get success ultimately. I mean we've got just as many weapons, but that extra player, all it takes is one. You can be so close to the Super Bowl and it can be a deciding factor."

Can't do that if you pay your QB $49 million a year.

There are many other quarterbacks who are making more max dollars than Dak and haven't gotten as far in the playoffs that Dak has gotten OR have the winning percentage that Dak has.....

But people like you don't ask THEM to take a pay cut. It's hilarious how that works. Dak is the only quarterback who should take a pay cut huh....
How many more hundreds of games do you need to watch before your finally understand this?

Cooper got traded because of his cost and his final season here wasn't the best. That's why he got traded.

Also, he implied Dak was a problem. But whatever. CeeDee and Micah lack accountability, that's why they arel talking. You don't talk about your fellow teammates this way.
Who knew. He was on to something.

Because your "evidence" is contradicted by the fact that the other teams with 40m QBs (and higher) managed to surround said QB with better talent. So yes while a 2m QB also had talent around him the same can be said of the 40 and 45m QBs so therefore apparently it is very very doable to surround a QB with talent than the Cowboys did last year because the rest of the league did.
The talent was mostly already there. The test will be concluded when they start having to dump players due to QB contracts.

It is an empty argument that Prescott's contract limits management at team building; their own ineptitude and poor evaluation do that.

Cap allocation and management are not the players' responsibility. If paying the QB isn't going to allow them to build out the team, seems simple to me. Don't pay the QB.

He did that already and they decided to give that money to Collins, Zeke, Lawrence and Jaylon. That’s what your gm did with the money.

Dak cost 20 million against the cap this year…..and what did they do with the savings?
They're saving that cap so they can shed the 666 as a pre-June 1st 2024 cut.
P.S. What has he done with a stud offensive roster around him only to choke out against teams like the Niners and let everyone down esp his teammates!!!

You mean when Warner stated that "Dak's eyes are in the wrong place too often on his reads"?

They are not smart enough to know which players to pay/not pay.

So speaks the bona-fide Dak hating poster from New York who has a Twitter account strictly meant for posting Dak bashing posts. Makes one wonder if you're a Cowboys fan or Giants fan?

Look AC while I can appreciate your appeal to Dak and I’m ok if he stays and won’t lose sleep if he left I’m a tad confused

Alot of this is not completely Dak I get that others don’t .
but what I’m curious of is which Kurt Warner are you down with ?
because I could have sworn I seen you bashing the dude in another thread and here you’re using him as argument support maybe it was someone else but I thought it was you

Stud offensive roster my ***. Week 1 his number 2 receiver was Dennis Houston….let that sink in.
