Thanks for volunteering yourself as the example I just spoke of. I appreciate your time and contribution lil guy. That took alot of courage kid!!
Well, I was the OG that called out Prescott's faults. For me, the discussion about this is old news. While all of you are just now coming to that realization, I saw it within the first 5-6 games of his career.

I've been fair to Prescott - He's a Kirk Cousins/Carr type talent strapped to a top 5 QB contract. If you disagree with that, you're not a fan of Cowboys or football, you're just a Dak fan.

Remake of the Wizard of OZ staring Dak Prescott.
Moves like the Tin man and he's got the Scarecrow covered too.
Seriously what's next? it's
Biadasz fault for snapping him the ball.

Hurts cost 1.5mil last year.
If Dak wants to drop his salary to 1.5mil, we can see about surrounding him with talent. Until then, he needs to put on his big boy pants and be the talent on the offense. That's generally what a QB has to do when they're making the big bucks. Earn it.

Odd because KC has a better OLine and better weapons and their QB is making 45m per year.
Cardinals have better weapons and they extended their QB.
Broncos have better weapons and they have a more expensive QB (just so happens that said QB is awful).
Rams of course have better weapons and so to in fact do the Browns.

Basically why is it that other teams are able to surround their 40m QBs (or more in just about every other case) with overall better talent?

Dak is already surrounded by NFL level talent. It is fallacious thinking that surrounding him with other NFL players will magically fix his deficiencies. He is who he is and we have had plenty of time to see it.

Dak is bi-polar. He can score 50 points one week and then 3 points the next.

Fine for the regular season but does not work in the playoffs with a one and done format.

Dak certainly has his issues but the fact that the team was insistent on giving one of the worst RB's in the NFL the starting job and the majority of the carries over a superior option didn't help things.

This is a "why can't it be both?" situation.

There are many other quarterbacks who are making more max dollars than Dak and haven't gotten as far in the playoffs that Dak has gotten OR have the winning percentage that Dak has.....

But people like you don't ask THEM to take a pay cut. It's hilarious how that works. Dak is the only quarterback who should take a pay cut huh....
I wouldn't say many. But then again I don't care because I'm a fan of the cowboys. I hope every qb in the league gets as much as they can because it will hurt their cap. I want what's best for our team and if dak wants that much money he needs to play better or at least more consistently.

.....and being declared with low IQ. Funny how that's working. TRomo apparently was a "Rhodes Scholar", since we never heard "low IQ".

CeeDee Lamb thinks Cowboys are not giving Dak Prescott what he needs to succeed
The Dallas Cowboys fell short from their main objective this year: the Super Bowl LVII. CeeDee Lamb analyzed their season and has revealed Dak Prescott's biggest issue: the lack of talent surrounding him.

After being eliminated by the 49ers, the wide receiver got real on the differences between both rosters and thinks that's the main problem Prescott has that's preventing him to succeed.

"You gotta surround (the quarterback)," Lamb said to Around the NFL podcast on Wednesday. "You go look at the Eagles, and they've got three receivers, a great tight end group, they run the ball well, the O-line is very phenomenal. You look at San Fran, they surrounded their quarterback and you get success ultimately. I mean we've got just as many weapons, but that extra player, all it takes is one. You can be so close to the Super Bowl and it can be a deciding factor."

Agree in a sense but this is like chicken or the egg. You paid him like he’s great so shouldn’t he be making what he has better…and he’s got the money for the upgrades. On the other hand you should try and win and supply any QB with what they need. Have to work some contracts. Pick your poison.

When Dak was getting 500k a year they did nothing. Stop listening to Stephen because hes full of it. They had plenty of cap space to make moves and they bargain shopped.

This team paid Jaylon, Zeke, Coop, Lawrence and Collins very well. Dak’s is not responsible for this teams mismanagement of cap space.
Yeah Stephen got some of our fans conditioned to watch the salary cap like he does, it a beautiful trick that he's done to our fan base. While other GMs go out and get players like their jobs depend on it......because it does.

He did that already and they decided to give that money to Collins, Zeke, Lawrence and Jaylon. That’s what your gm did with the money.

Dak cost 20 million against the cap this year…..and what did they do with the savings?
They saved a bunch of money by not signing Gregory, what did they do with the money?
