Yes, Dak needs to give $10+ mil/year back to help the team acquire better talent. Dak already makes $50 mil/year off-the-field in sponsorships and endorsements. Don't be greedy, Dak! Do the right thing to help the team which in essence will further help you.
So they can do what? Sign a high quality free agent? The last time they signed a highly sought after free agent was Brandon Carr in 2012. This is the reason other teams run laps around us, we're scared to pay for free agents. Dak is getting all the scrutiny but the Joneses are to blame, always has and if they keep this model always will be.

Why is it every time one of our players opens their trap - this crap comes out?

A WR calling out the talent of his teammates - that's real great for team chemistry. If Jerry and Stephen had control of this team, they'd be calling Micah and CeeDee and telling them to shut the hell up.
Some has to speak up about this crap, y'all want to continue getting the results we've gotten over the last 28 years? How bad the wr talent has to be for CeeDee to state that we need more help there? After the first play of the second quarter no other wr not named CeeDee Lamb caught a pass until the last play of the game. Unacceptable.

Hurts cost 1.5mil last year.
If Dak wants to drop his salary to 1.5mil, we can see about surrounding him with talent. Until then, he needs to put on his big boy pants and be the talent on the offense. That's generally what a QB has to do when they're making the big bucks. Earn it.
I get your position. But the money is spent now. So do we sit back and ask Dak to make chicken salad out of chicken ****.....or do try to fix this?

Agree in a sense but this is like chicken or the egg. You paid him like he’s great so shouldn’t he be making what he has better…and he’s got the money for the upgrades. On the other hand you should try and win and supply any QB with what they need. Have to work some contracts. Pick your poison.
What did KC do at the wr after loosing Tyreek Hill? Did they say "we have a generational QB,the best in the league, lets just throw out Hardeman and some jags and he should be able to elevate them to a super bowl". No they went out and got JuJu, MVS, Kadarius Toney and Sky Moore. We have a good qb and what did we do after loosing Cooper? Elevated Brown, paid Gallup coming off an ACL, drafted a guy this was inactive all year and signed a guy that didn't catch a single pass all year.

That's one of the reason KC is in the super bowl and we're at home.

How about reverse the tables and give Dak nothing, and see how he does? The Chiefs took away Patty's top WR and who can even name one of their WR's now, or their starting RB? Burrow got as far as he did this year with a MASH unit on his OL. I will also argue that Dak is in the same boat as Allen is, as the Bills have done everything to have him succeed and his issues are quite similar to Dak's.

The Fish have given Tua plenty of needs on both sides of the ball, and Tua doesn't look to be cut out for the NFL because of his size. Bryce may have the same issues when he gets to the NFL next year because of size. I haven't even mentioned AR, who historically has been given total garbage from ownership, and he has done fairly well for himself.

No doubt Dak needs support to succeed, heck, he was a 4th round pick for a reason

That was a "we like our guys" strategy.

For what it's worth...we are consistent with our mindset. And it has produced consistent results. Unfortunately, the results have not been good enough.

Well when it's time for him to get paid, I hope he takes less money to help surround Dak with talent. I mean we had Coop, who by the way with Jacoby Brissett for most of the season, put up damn near the same numbers with 29 less receptions. CeeDee should worry about CeeDee.

CeeDee Lamb thinks Cowboys are not giving Dak Prescott what he needs to succeed
The Dallas Cowboys fell short from their main objective this year: the Super Bowl LVII. CeeDee Lamb analyzed their season and has revealed Dak Prescott's biggest issue: the lack of talent surrounding him.

After being eliminated by the 49ers, the wide receiver got real on the differences between both rosters and thinks that's the main problem Prescott has that's preventing him to succeed.

"You gotta surround (the quarterback)," Lamb said to Around the NFL podcast on Wednesday. "You go look at the Eagles, and they've got three receivers, a great tight end group, they run the ball well, the O-line is very phenomenal. You look at San Fran, they surrounded their quarterback and you get success ultimately. I mean we've got just as many weapons, but that extra player, all it takes is one. You can be so close to the Super Bowl and it can be a deciding factor."

He’s right. But the Eagles haven’t had to pay their QB yet, so they can afford to do this.

Well you explained it though. They have a generational QB. They lost a stud WR. I wouldn’t call the lineup you threw out replacing him. They got a group and it still was a lot of Kelce. They also have a coach that can game plan those other guys in. Also when we had the horses the year before our year ended in the same spot. Again for me it’s a coin flip. Im Not bashing Dak. Your money is tied up in a..to quote you…a “good” QB so you either expect him to elevate people or you go all in..which takes me back 2 years. It doesn’t help we have a front office who can’t handle all this.

This is pretty common knowledge for most football fans.

Shouldn’t come as a surprise we desperately need more weapons to be a legit playoff contender.

Dak needs help. He’s not Mahomes who has no receivers but the best right end in the nfl. The change of scheme will help with McCarthy at the helm but he can’t be throwing to Noah brown and others who wouldn’t even scratch top 3 wr on other rosters.

Mahomes has a HOF TE, a 1st round WR, 2 2nd round WRs and a FA WR in MVS.

He’s obviously the best in football - but even he has gotten help.

Now this board will turn against CeeDee for telling the truth
Not really, but it does leave himself open to the: the tallent was good enough to beat the Eagles and Bucc's argument, or the if Dak wasn't paid $49m and $52m maybe there would be enough CAP, or CeeDee could accept a reasonable contract (or will he expect position setting contract based on the increased CAP).

Then why did he choose to pass on 2nd and 2 at the 49ers 5 yard line? Doesn’t he have the ability to audible? Why is the OC at fault?
This clearly was on Kellen Moore. They had called pass plays on 2nd or 3rd and short all season long. A competent O-Coordinator would have made sure a run play is called during such short yardage situations.

Also, maybe both Kellen Moore and Dak didn't trust the Oline and rushing attack when all together they weren't able to run for 50 yards total for the game?

lol...way to sell yourself short... bs dallas has plenty of talent, dak can't deliver and won't. the NFC is wide open next year, 49ers imploding, gb not a threat anymore rams aging, no more brady, etc the eagles are probably per default the best team but one great team isnt insurmentable.

Ceedee throwing shots at teammates lol
Lamb is a go-along, get-along. Sorry @WillieBeamen it's true. He might make pass aggressive facial expressions during games but he'll never call Dak out like Coop did. He's going to keep everything sweet until he gets that bag.

Seriously did they forget the talent they had around this guy the last few years? What more could you want than Coop, Gallup, Lamb, Wilson, Zeke, Pollard, Schultz. What are we doing here blaming the whole season on 85???
