Ceedee throwing shots at teammates lol
and throwing shots at the front office. It's nice to know the players know what we know. Jerry dropped the ball with the Amari Cooper move. He should have kept Cooper or found a legitimate WR to replace Cooper. Going into the season with Gallup on IR coming off a major knee injury and relying on Noah Brown, Jalon Tolbert (rookie), Semi Fehoko, Kavonte Turpin to help Lamb was just stupid. Brown, Tolbert, Fehoko, and Turpin would be lucky to be considered #4 WRs much less step in and be the #2 or #3. Meanwhile Gallup isn't living up to being a #2. Hopefully another offseason to recover will put him back on the path but we assumed he could be a #2 when all he has ever been is the #3 behind Cooper and Lamb. He may not be that guy. We NEED to spend some money on WR this year. At least find a solid #2 guy. Give him the money we were paying Schultz. Let Schultz walk and draft another TE in a TE heavy draft class..

Yup. It’s laughable the WR crew we lined up this year. Laughable.

Hurts cost 1.5mil last year.
If Dak wants to drop his salary to 1.5mil, we can see about surrounding him with talent. Until then, he needs to put on his big boy pants and be the talent on the offense. That's generally what a QB has to do when they're making the big bucks. Earn it.

.....and being declared with low IQ. Funny how that's working. TRomo apparently was a "Rhodes Scholar", since we never heard "low IQ".
To be fair, I think that saying "low IQ" wasn't really a thing while Romo was here. It seems it is one of the newer generations sayings.

Some has to speak up about this crap, y'all want to continue getting the results we've gotten over the last 28 years? How bad the wr talent has to be for CeeDee to state that we need more help there? After the first play of the second quarter no other wr not named CeeDee Lamb caught a pass until the last play of the game. Unacceptable.
It's not the job of the WR to do this. That's not their place. It's the place of the owners not to create a circus.

They live in an alternate reality where Dak never has a competitive supporting cast but his backup is able to go 4-1.
Geez. Please use some perspective. Rush won 4 games where the defense allowed 13.2 points per game. When he finally went against a good defense (Philly) he threw 3 lollipop interceptions.

Hurts is about to get paid more than Dak and I bet Howie Roseman doesn't send AJ Brown or Devonta Smith packing like Jerrah did with Cooper. Great GMs know how to work the CAP. There was no excuse for Jerry trading Copper and not having a viable option to replace him. The CAP is too easy to manipulate and is constantly increasing. He gave Cooper up for a 5th round pick. We basically traded Cooper for Matt Waletzko.

If the owner doesn't do it then the job still has to be done, leadership may come from the rank and file if there is a void. Dak has issues and the main one is being a "good soldier" and not speaking out when he should. This organization hasn't been to an NFCCG is 28 years and something has to change.

No, the job is still always on the owner. The WRs job is to go catch passes - his job description is not to call out the talent of his teammates and potentially cause more issues behind closed doors.

He and Micah don't know when to shut up and if our owners were worth a damn, they'd have all of these players in line.

Had to ask. No problem. The older generation, like me........remembers when that was the only thing noted for a "different" QB. Had to check how that comes into play when the playbook is like an "encyclopedia" (Younger generation....it was a series of books available before internet). All good.

Lamb is a go-along, get-along. Sorry @WillieBeamen it's true. He might make pass aggressive facial expressions during games but he'll never call Dak out like Coop did. He's going to keep everything sweet until he gets that bag.

Seriously did they forget the talent they had around this guy the last few years? What more could you want than Coop, Gallup, Lamb, Wilson, Zeke, Pollard, Schultz. What are we doing here blaming the whole season on 85???
Every single WR here that called out the QB has been shipped out

TO, Dez, Coop..

CeeDee Lamb thinks Cowboys are not giving Dak Prescott what he needs to succeed
The Dallas Cowboys fell short from their main objective this year: the Super Bowl LVII. CeeDee Lamb analyzed their season and has revealed Dak Prescott's biggest issue: the lack of talent surrounding him.

After being eliminated by the 49ers, the wide receiver got real on the differences between both rosters and thinks that's the main problem Prescott has that's preventing him to succeed.

"You gotta surround (the quarterback)," Lamb said to Around the NFL podcast on Wednesday. "You go look at the Eagles, and they've got three receivers, a great tight end group, they run the ball well, the O-line is very phenomenal. You look at San Fran, they surrounded their quarterback and you get success ultimately. I mean we've got just as many weapons, but that extra player, all it takes is one. You can be so close to the Super Bowl and it can be a deciding factor."

Yea, the cap is a speed bump and just an excuse. It’s almost irrelevant.

The Saints are talking to Carr and they’re in the negatives in cap space.

We don’t have a cap problem we have a GM problem.

Inaccurate assumption from you. Dak is not my boy.. However, I would take him any day of the week over Cooper Rush. Would I love for Dallas to upgrade the QB position and move on from Dak? Yes. However, who are you going to get? What's you solution? You named your problem (Dak) but that doesn't carry a lot of weight unless you come up with a viable alternative to Dak. I was as mad at Dak as anyone during the 49ers game but Cooper Rush sure as heck wasn't winning that game.

We showed what we needed to do on offense to move the ball on the 49ers and Moore got away from that formula (in part due to Pollard getting injured and Zeke being ineffective). On the 14 play drive where Dallas scored a TD they ran the ball 7 times and passed the ball 7 times. The play action pass was working and Dak was 7 for 7 on that drive. If we could have found a way to stick that formula we had a chance. But Pollard went down and we were stuck with Zeke running the ball and only 1 legit weapon in Lamb.

So on our most successful drive against the 49ers we were 50/50 run/pass with 7 runs and 7 passes. The rest of the game were had 31 passes and 15 runs and you could probably take a couple of those runs away because of scrambles by Dak.. Anyway we were 67/33 pass run for the rest of the game. Not a formula for winning against an elite defense like the 49ers. At least not with a QB that is at his best when using play action pass.

Didn't Dallas finish the season around $20m under the CAP after trading Amari and overpaying Zeke a ton of money?

The notion that they couldn't free up some cash to add a veteran WR in the offseason is a bit silly. Jerry and company need to share in the blame for their roster mismanagement as well.
