Its official. If Dez came back, it will not be with no. 88. I think he deserves another shot like all the drug heads, suspended players, and old veteran players that retired and came back got multiple chances. Giving Lamb no.88 is sort of an insult. But NFL stands for Not For Long.

88 was Pearson's before it was Michael's, so if it were going to be unofficially retired, Irvin never would've gotten it. That said, it is given out too freely.
