CeeDee Lamb

That is exclusive to our team which is doubling. In fact in both games when Gallup got the one on one coverage to his side to catch those long passes on the other side of the field the safety was over the top on Amari. These are the facts.

I don't buy a jersey until after a players first season. I'm sure I will add CeeDee to my list. Until then I'll be wearing Amari's away jersey this week.

Its not a point that is so crucial for me to make. Ill just say I don't agree with highlighted statement but its not worth go an back and forth on. Point is i like all 3 receivers. I think all 3 have #1 potential and Amari is bonified #1 real deal. He has too many drops but hell also make the splash plays.

I can live with 1 to get the other.

Wasn't even a block in the back...total bull call. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong thing though.
It wasn't a block in the back. It was a penalty for a blindside block, which was the right call per the rules.

I dunno.

Amari Cooper has incredible skill he just gets sulky.

Nobody in this league runs routes like Cooper. He’s an artist.
I'm talking physical gifts. Absolutely Coop has routes, but the ups, body control, hands of Lamb is tops.

I love that we got CeeDee, As a longhorns fan I have seen more than my fair share of CeeDee. The kid is a great player who will get better as he gains experience in this league. Having said that I love the WR we have on this team and feel no need to berate any of them. I expect we will see different guys each week making the big impact plays. Cooper, Gallup and CeeDee is a nightmare for DC.
I agree. All three made big impact plays in the game. I love our WR corps.

It's a fact that CeeDee nor Gallup have forced a double team when Amari is on the field. That is what #1 WR's do and that is what Amari does which allows CeeDee and Gallup to have 1 on 1 coverage. Don't have to go back in forward; I was just letting you know....tape don't lie.

No player is perfect but Amari is top 10 at his position. We are lucky to have the triplets.

This I can agree with but that's not what i gathered from your first statement. i took it as Amari is the only #1 in the league that gets safety over the top consideration and that isn't the case. My bad and yes we are lucky to have these 3.

I thought he got his head ini front of the defender on the Rams' play and the "blindside block" was just playing football. He even pulled up to avoid de-cleating the guy. He could have cleaned that guy's clock if he wanted too. That said, there is no doubt that he benefitting from being matched up against the other team's #3 corner or a safety. The kid has amazing talent but He's a year or two away from being able to be a #1.
If a rookie is abusing. The 3rd corner or safety what do you folks think cooper or Gallup will do? I never heard this complaint when Beasley was abusing nickel corners....

The double teams will go back and forth throughout the year as #88 shows his dominance.

He's already well on his way. He's #12 in the NFL in yards.
Because he is playing with Amari. At best he is getting the 3rd best cover corner on the opposing defense because he is also playing with Gallup. Amari is taking the double and extra coverage. CeeDee is simply playing pitch and catch and should be open nearly every play with his skill set and going against the 3rd best corner.

He's not really even going against anyone either.

He's just dragging across zones and trying to find a window for his QB to throw into.

I love it because that is such an effective route to have in the offense and works well against zone and man. Once Lamb catches the ball is when the fun starts with him.

I'd like to see them Mesh it at times and have a guy on the opposite side do the same thing.

Lamb was about the most dominant receiver I had ever seen in college. He is adjusting extremely well.

he need at least 10 targets a game. He let a touchdown goes through his hands though.
no Randy Moss to me didnt belong in college , it was illegal how much better he looked then anyone else and in the NFL didnt miss beat..

man what a wiff on the FO for not taking Moss , im still upset but MI and his issues and the temas white house miscues made Jerry Learly of drafting guy with weed and other little issues in college..

I’m of the thought that we don’t get a wr in the first if Dallas doesn’t resign Cooper. It wasn’t a need so teams probably weren’t too concerned about lamb being snatched up in that spot.

If the draft was before the start of free agency, the Cowboys could’ve saved $100m and retained Gallup for probably a lot less than Amari & used those resources to help the backend of the defense. Nevertheless, this CeeDee Lamb kid passes my eye test and I think he’s a star (potential super star) in the making. To me he looks like the best WR on this roster so far this year; albeit we’re only 2 games in and I’m not saying he’ll end up as our top receiver but I think there’s a really good chance that he will be.
I predicted that Lamb would lead the Cowboys in receiving right after we drafted him and said he would be in running for rookie of the year but a QB still win it

No surprise you would argue against how good a Cowboys player is.

There’s no reason that we can’t keep Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, Jarwin, Zeke and Prescott all together for the next 5 years. Build the defense with young guys through the draft.
Schultz might take Jarwin job because he is going to get 15 regular season games as the starter and Jarwin don't have much experience....... barring injury of course
