Our WR situation is pretty much a one-trick pony with having only Cee Dee as a legit receiver.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be many legitimate options to help alleviate that situation.
We have no WR's on the Roster at the 1b or 2 level. We only have level 3 & 4 currently on the roster.
Should Lamb be unavailable, we have a below avg offense at that point.
There doesn't seem to be many options in FA this year to find a compliment to Cee Dee.
So, expect more of the same this year and pray Cee Dee stays healthy.

I expect Dallas to either sign or trade for a low-cost veteran No. 2, like it did when it brought in Brandin Cooks. Now, it could opt to take a receiver early in the draft, but I don't think the front office wants to be wedged into that. And it could believe that trading a fourth for Mingo was enough, but I would be surprised by that. The front office is cheap, not completely stupid (although that is debatable).

One of the things I hope that the team learned last year is that it needs to make more use of Turpin as a receiver. I don't see him as a No. 2 option, but I think he needs to be No. 3 to take advantage of his speed and elusiveness. It took us too long to figure out that he could needed to be used more on offense.

What a Debbie downer thread. We have not entered free agency or the draft yet. Ridiculous.

They probably add a receiver either with a trade or a draft pick.

Completely guessing, but I think they end up signing Stephon Diggs. Coming off injury he should play for a discount. Probably wont give you elite level production but would still be an upgrade over Cooks, and its a name for Jerry to point to when the fans complain about him not spending money in free agency. Maybe a 2 year/$40M deal with a decent out after year 1 if Diggs doesnt perform?

yesssssssssssss that was my exact thoughts about a tee Higgins, Jerry showing us that he's spending money, this is an even better signing if he can give us something.

They sure could use a WR2. But they also sure could use a RB, a QB2, and an OL. And on the other side of the ball they sure could use a DT or perhaps two, a pass rusher or two, a LB or two and probably another DB. Lots of meeting rooms on the Cowboy team sure could use an upgrade. As far as the draft goes it is take the guy most likely to be along term NFL starter unless it happens to be a TE. That is true for each and every pick regardless of the round.

its not just the WR group that's not going to improve. its the whole team.
Parsons will be resigned and all this other stuff is jerry just manipulating media for attention. parsons was top 5 in Jersey sales, so no way jerry lets him go.
Osa will walk, because washington will outbid us and Stephen will say, well parsons contract!!!!
we will sign bottom of the barrell DTs or just promote UDFAs from PS to the team.
Draft will be ho hum. Jerry will take Jeanty if he is there, because he can just imagine how many Jeanty Jerseys he can sell.
Draft will be another disaster waiting to happen.
2025 will be at best, at best, at best another 7-10 season. and jerry excuses continue. Because Smith is coming up from a redo.
