Are you asking a question or making a statement? Why play him? That's stupid.

Should’ve sat him sooner.Let him rest.
he will be ready for mini camp.
Nothing good comes from it. There’s a bad track record of guys holding out. Just pay the game and get him in camp.I know it's not related but all too often we see either slow starts or injuries after these holdouts. Aiyuk is just one of many.
Kudos to Ceedee for knocking off his early rust and playing great through injury......he's the one guy out of the big 3 that I don't mind breaking the bank on......he's got heart and still shines against tough competition
Read the article. Recent tests showed it had gotten worse, but it will heal with rest and treatment, no surgery. Further damage could mean surgery. That’s why they are shutting him down. It also doesn’t hurt the tank without tanking scenario to improve our draft status. His shoulder has been messed up for weeks why now sit him?
You’re missing my point.Read the article. Recent tests showed it had gotten worse, but it will heal with rest and treatment, no surgery. Further damage could mean surgery. That’s why they are shutting him down. It also doesn’t hurt the tank without tanking scenario to improve our draft status.
No they weren’t. They knew on Sunday they were out of the playoffs. Nevermind they had to win out to even have a chance to make the playoffs to begin with.Because he wanted to tough it out and the team was still technically alive through Sunday?
He had practiced and was clear to play. and then he reaggravated the injury. It’s not that deep.No they weren’t. They knew on Sunday they were out of the playoffs. Nevermind they had to win out to even have a chance to make the playoffs to begin with.
Perhaps to prevent further damage to the tissues, not to mention the possibility of irreversible damage. I don't know the nature of the injury, but the fact that they are officially out of the playoff picture probably figures into it as well. His shoulder has been messed up for weeks why now sit him?
Same here! And I'd do it for less money! They might as well put me out there. I can give you 20 snaps, 6 targets, 0 receptions and a ton of embarrassment.
Agreed but I would reword it. He gave it all and the idiot GM and son gave a haul.Just saw this on NFL Network, he gave it his all…unlike his idiot GM and son.
The tank is on!!!!
Agreed.I honestly thought he'd phone it in once it looked like Dallas had little to no shot at the playoffs, but the man kept playing at an elite level.
He leads by example. If every guy had that kind of toughness, they'd be unstoppable
Agree with everything but "he's not needed"This is good news, he’s not needed, and no sense in making the injury, any worse than it could be
This. The sad part is, it works on a select few here. Why play him is the better question. Let him rest and be ready for next season. This probably about wraps up McCarthy and Zimmer contract extension. Winning the last few games is good enough for Jerry Jones and they will spin the contract extensions by blaming injuries to its best players. They will hope we all forgot about how trash we looked at the beginning of the season.
The QB will have something to say about who gets the targets. If Tolbert has a nice 75 yards on 6 catches or so I'd say it's a successful day. We'll see. If it's a 20 yard day on 3 catches.................
