This should have been done 3 weeks ago. Why did Dallas not let Trey Lance play some in these games. Winning is meaningless when your not going to make the playoffs.

the Cowboys had to win some games so JJ could say "see, i believe Mike was rallying the team, im going to bring him back"

Guys like Brooks, etc. will get a chance to play a couple of real NFL games, gain some experience and give the coaches more info as to whehter the players have a future with the team.

And likely helps draft position.

It's likely best to allow Cee Dee's injury to recover during the rest of the season. Rendering him useless unnecessarily would only create serious problems for the team next season. Putting him at risk when this season is already a waste would only be foolish handling.
