I was thinking of going back to a flip phone
That’s weird. It shouldn’t be popping up ads. Is your tracking setting and location services on off? This past week, when I'm using my phone to access this site, I keep getting pop-up crap, allegedly from Walmart and YouTube, congratulating me as a Moto G7 user, and telling me I won a new phone.
It's not an ad. It's a congratulatory message that I can only get rid of by backing up three or four times, or by going to my home screen. That’s weird. It shouldn’t be popping up ads. Is your tracking setting and location services on off?
Hmmm....I wonder. I bet if you took it to a cell phone place like Mobile Kangaroo they could tell you why. Typically things are almost always software related. It's not an ad. It's a congratulatory message that I can only get rid of by backing up three or four times, or by going to my home screen.
I don't even wanna know what happens if I respond to it in any way.
And it only happens when I'm on this site.
Thinking about itHmmm....I wonder. I bet if you took it to a cell phone place like Mobile Kangaroo they could tell you why.
I learned phone makers are sneaky in how they don’t easily tell you what all functions do. Like notifications, and location services. They make you dig through to get it to where you want it. I’m always punching in to google ...”How do I do change x,y,and z feature on my iPhone?” Weasels....Thinking about it
I have two cans and a string but felt that was a little too low tech so I put rotary dials on the ends of the cans.I was thinking of going back to a flip phone
I still remember the phone numbers to every house in the neighborhood I grew up in........don't know anyone's in my family.Remember when we had to use valuable gray matter to remember phone numbers? I'd acquired a rhythm to numbers with push button phones and then had to use a rotary phone and went blank.
I don't know what "location" would have to do with the issue I'm having, but I had to wait until I got home to start using this site again, because I couldn't type a full sentence without one of those two messages hijacking my phone.Hey folks....#1 rule. Look up how to turn off all analytic, notification and location settings, keeping just what you need. I had to look up things from tech writer articles. They list certain menu items in confusing fashion ON PURPOSE. They want to track you,and try and trick you into doing so. Dirtbags...
Well, all of those features work as a open ended function, but could be a bug. What kind of software is on your phone?I don't know what "location" would have to do with the issue I'm having, but I had to wait until I got home to start using this site again, because I couldn't type a full sentence without one of those two messages hijacking my phone.
LMAO! Do I strike you as someone who'd know that??? It's an Android system, that's about all I can tell you.Well, all of those features work as a open ended function, but could be a bug. What kind of software is on your phone?
Put down that scythe and pickup your smartphone and text me some fun stuff.
As most everything else, they're just tools in the hands. It is the hands that can be a problem.
Loool. Sorry,...I’m not a techie either. I know just basic stuff.LMAO! Do I strike you as someone who'd know that??? It's an Android system, that's about all I can tell you.
So I'm not the only one. This site keeps redirecting to those things and dating sitesThis past week, when I'm using my phone to access this site, I keep getting pop-up crap, allegedly from Walmart and YouTube, congratulating me as a Moto G7 user, and telling me I won a new phone.
Are you on android too?So I'm not the only one. This site keeps redirecting to those things and dating sites
Yeah. Samsung GalaxyAre you on android too?
I’m thinking that’s the issue then. It’s the software. I have IOS and I have software issues with certain things. Not this one,but those type of things nonetheless.Yeah. Samsung Galaxy
