Not only is IU the best team in Indiana, they are the National Champions and best team in the country.

I just wanted a team that had not done it before and IU certainly deserved it. By far the most consistent team this year. Just goes to show you what superior coaching and disciplined players can do to teams that have more talent but are not a TEAM.

Mendoza showed why he's the Heisman winner. That TD run on 4th down was insane. But, how about the call?? Kinda crazy decision. If Miami held there, they are probably national champions and Cignetti would be second guessed by every talking head in America today.

lot of things Miami could have done and win the game, pay a good Kicker in the transfer portal,block a DE on a punt rather than just barely touching him.

Great game.
Special coaching job by Cignetti but even better job of pure talent evaluation.
Added all the right portal pieces then coached guys into the system.

Would have been happy for either team. The U is my fave team outside Texas and has been since Jimmy roamed those sidelines. Indiana busting all these inane myths based on a dated system is sublime.

Once again, you do not recall correctly. The SEC commish said that in a 16 team field, he thinks as many 8 SEC teams could qualify. Of course, he is promoting his conference. Its his job.

It not that far fetched. This was a down year for the conference and they still had 7 finish inside the top 16.
